Webkinz Online Game Review

Webkinz.com is a website for kids that allows them to be productive and at the same time be entertained. It has become the rage within elementary schools. The entertainment portion of this online game simply teaches your child responsibility as Webkinz allows a child to choose from many different animals. Kids are also able to improve their reading skills as well. Each pet has levels of happiness, health, and hunger that vary as time is spent with the Webkinz.

The stats can be increased by feeding, playing, exercising and bathing the pet. It is like caring for a normal pet. Here the player can "adopt" a virtual version of the pet. After adopting, the player is given basic items such as a room, a welcome balloon, a food item, a piece of furniture and 2500 in "Kinzcash". Kinzcash is the virtual currency of the game. As far as your pet goes, you can feed it, play with it, exercise it, all to keep it healthy. There is a section called Quizzy's Corner where your child can earn Webkinz cash just for answering questions. You may also dress it, and it comes with a room for he or she when you adopt that animal.

This seems to be a very child friendly and safe internet area for kids to play. It teaches responsibility, financial budgeting and creativity. Webkinz are both for younger and older children as well as boys or girls. Each Webkinz costs between $13.99 to $16.99, so the dollars start to add up fast as you play further and further into the game. The following categories are also included within Webkinz: Math, The Arts, Social Studies, Health, Language, and Science. Overall, this game comes as highly recommended and fun for your child to learn new things and to be quite productive at the same time.
