(just More Mad Thoughts)
Fiber
optics, hubs, switches, networks
and backbones, random
numbers to you which are faces
I recognize; 123.243.43.193,
65.183.150.12, 86.151.255.101
and they go on
endlessly;
A cyber web
they
call Internet.
Muscles,
vessels, sinews, nerves,
synapses, wires, circuits, all firing -
pumping - a web they make.
A
human
web
they call me.
Like
screaming alone
in the mountains, knowing
all the while no one
can, will, hear
your pleas.
Take the audience
from an exhibitionist - he
will starve.
Take inspiration
from an artist - he
will go mad.
Mad.
I have said it
before; "...Perhaps
that is best. Lust
is the Future and we
are all Mad!"
