The first website under review is Blue Letter Bible which can be found by going to www.blueletterbible.org. This website, in my opinion, is very user friendly and easy to download, especially for those who are still accessing the Internet through a dial-up service.
Whether you are writing an article, creating a sermon, putting together a Bible lesson, or simply do not have a Bible handy and want to look up a passage of Scripture online, this website helps you reach these goals. The entire Bible, from the first verse in Genesis to the last verse in Revelation, can be found at this website. It uses a very simple search engine that produces correct results. For example, if you type in "God" in the "Search the Bible" text box in the upper right hand corner and hit enter, it will show a list of verses where "God" can be found. In this instance, the website search produced 3,893 verses. Some contain one usage of the name, while others use it multiple times in the same verse.
In addition to searching for a word or phrase, you can read a verse in a variety of translations in addition to the commonly used King James Version of the Bible such as the New King James Version, New Living Translation and New International Version.
There are also different types of commentaries that are provided alongside the verses you are reading. I do not suggest that you believe everything a certain commentator says as the truth about the passage of Scripture you are examining. Rather, study and compare the commentaries, ask your preacher to help you understand what the passage is teaching or means, and above all, be sure to ask God in prayer to provide a way so that you can learn what it says.
I have been using this website since I learned about it several years ago and I highly recommend it to anyone. Was this review helpful in any way? Feel free to email me your comments, suggestions and criticisms. My goal is to make these reviews as simple and helpful as possible.

King James Version (KJV) Vs. New International Version (NIV)Does it really matter?- Shakespeare and Psalm 46 in the King James Version of the BibleSome say that the 46th Psalm is proof that Shakespeare helped with the translation of the 46th Psalm because there appears to be a hidden message in it with his name. Is this a coincidence or not?
