Website Review: CafeCafeGames

CafeCafeGames is a new flash games portal someone brought to my attention at another community. At this point, everybody who uses a computer knows of at least the sites like this.It seems like an over crowded market that warrants redundancy because most of these sites share the exact same content.

Said content usually includes pop-unders and distracting advertisements.CCG's About page claims the site will never become littered with such annoyances. While there are advertisement, most don't overwhelm you or draw too much attention away from the games.

Speaking of the flash games, CCG has a pretty nice selection. Pretty much every genre is represented.There are some very good strategic RPG's, sports, puzzlers, action shooters and games that are hard to categorize with one phrase.

A good amount of content doesn't mean much if navigation is a pain. Everything is set up in neat little rows that feature category names, screen shots and a short description for each game. If you do know of other flash game portals, you probably won't need the descriptions.

Like most other flash sites, CCG doesn't have anything you haven't seen already. I had fun playing Bloons Tower Defense and Battle Mechs, but I have access to those titles elsewhere. Good layout, but the lack of exclusive content prevents me from recommending this site over other flash portals.
