Website Review - Gamevance

Do you have a love for on-line gaming? If you do, then perhaps you have visited Gamevance.com a few times. If not, then you may enjoy this in-depth review of the websites many features. Out of Gamevance's many features, which is the best, and which games are worthy of playing?

Design-

In terms of design, Gamevance is fairly simple looking and easy to navigate. Around the front page you see lists of the most popular games, and winners of monthly contests Gamevance hosts. All of Gamevance's design is very easy on the eyes, and user friendly- too bad we can't say the same thing about the websites creativity.

Creativity-

Of course there are tons of other websites just like this on the Internet, and almost all of them have paid user programs or ways users can win cash. While the games may be easy, your chances of winning actual cash are slim. You probably have better chances of winning one of the websites many prizes, gift cards, IPod's, PSP's and even digital cameras.

Features-

Needless to say, Gamevance hosts hundreds of on-line games. These games range in genre and difficulty, and some are even tournament games you can play against others. Thankfully for users, there is also a Hall of Fame feature where users can get that well deserved recognition they have always wanted.

Games-

As said above, Gamevance has a good amount of games for users to play and enjoy. Which are the best? Moon Defender was actually very entertaining, the game felt like a retro Atari game. Also, Shooting Stars was pretty entertaining, all you have to do is shoot at balloons to score points.

Sadly, most of the games are very easy to any gamer that has been playing for years. Overall, anyone who is a hardcore gamer will want to stay away from this website, unless they want to try and win prizes. Gamevance is great for kids, or average gamers that just want to play a quick and easy game.

Improvement-

To improve Gamevance, they will want to get a wider variety of games, that hardcore gamers will enjoy. Even Xbox Live has better arcade style games then Gamevance. Also, it would be nice to see more user features, and more prizes for users as well. Each player can win one prize a month, but many would suspect the chances of winning are low.

For these reasons, Gamevance gets a five out of 10, for being fairly decent, but needing improvement.
