For starters, "Desperate Housewives".
When the show returns in September, characters Xiao-Mei will be ready to give birth, while Bree and Orson will step up their relationship and become engaged. Will there be new additions on Wisteria Lane? Perhaps, Edie shows an elderly couple a house in the area, in addition, she shows Paul Young's house to a gay couple.
Another character to watch, is Mike, he will be in a coma at the start of the year. Susan shows her support by visiting him in the hospital, where she meets a man who has a wife in a coma. Their chemistry is strong, but what happens when their significant others wake up? And will Carlos and Gabrielle make it through another year? Well, they will try to, as they will discuss their problems with a divorce mediator.
Fans of "The Office" be prepared for new characters. Former "Daily Show" co-star, Ed Helms, joins the cast. This should be a hilarious fit. In addition, former "Boston Public" actress, Rashida Jones will be taping episodes for the new season, hopefully, she'll be a regular.
"America's Next Top Model"…needs writers? In mid-July, writers for the show went on strike. How will this affect the new season, not sure. The reason behind the strike is that the writers want to be part of the Writers Guild of America (WGA).
Lastly, "Lost" will return to ABC in October with six new shows. There will be a new character, named Juliet. Juliet works hard to convince Jack to trust her, but should he? She could be an "Other". In addition to Juliet, there will be one more female added, along with another male character added. Creators also say the first episodes will deal with what happened to Locke, Desmond, and Eko. Also, the new episodes will touch on Sawyer, Kate, and Jack's captivity situation.
