Wedding Centerpiece Ideas

Calla Lily Wedding Centerpieces

Cassie Mae
You may be planning on using calla lilies as your wedding flower. If so, below are three wedding centerpiece ideas and arrangements you can achieve.

Modern Calla Lily Wedding Centerpieces

You will need to purchase:

Tall thin glass vases for each table
Calla Lily flowers either live, silk or plastic
Clear marbles or colored marbles to match your wedding color (or mix and match)

You can purchase all of the above items at Hobby Lobby for a reasonable price in large quantities. You may find the same items online at a discount store and/or at Wal-Mart or K-Mart.

Place enough clear marbles in each vase. Place one long-stemmed calla lily in each vase. Add water if you are using live calla lilies. Next arrange one vase on each table. For instance, if there are three large tables put together place about five calla lily vases on each one, set equally away from each other.

You will have a very elegant and modern feel to your wedding dinner and reception tables using the calla lily wedding centerpiece idea above.

Calla Lily Wedding Centerpieces that Become a Wedding Favor

This calla lily wedding centerpiece idea becomes price savvy as it will turn into a wedding party favor.

What you will need to purchase:

Silk calla lilies in your wedding color
Round glass vases
White floating candles
Mesh material either white or your wedding color
Scissors
Bath salts
Ribbon
Water

You may purchase all of the above at a large chain discount store such as Wal-Mart, Target, or K-Mart. Or you may also purchase the above items at craft stores such as Hobby Lobby or Ben Franklin. Check sale and clearance prices at the above stores and search online for the best deal.

First take the mesh and cut equally six inches in length and width. Fill each piece of mesh with bath salts so it is round and thick. Hold sides of mesh material and have another person put a silk calla lily into the mesh material. Take ribbon and tie into a bow around the mesh material. You now have a lovely centerpiece that you can place all along down the middle of the tables. Leave enough room in between each centerpiece to place the round glass vases. Put a floating candle in the round glass and fill with water.

The bath salts will leave a fragrant aroma at your wedding dinner and reception. Right before your wedding dinner starts, the business holding your reception can light all of the candles adding a romantic feel to your special wedding dinner. Let guests know they can take one of the bath salt-filled wedding centerpieces home with them.

Elegant Calla Lily Wedding Centerpieces

For a stunning look at your wedding dinner and wedding reception you may want to choose to arrange your calla lily centerpieces in an easy bouquet.

What you will need to purchase:

Silk or live calla lily flowers
Either brown macramé rope or ribbon the color of your wedding
Flat glass 5 x 5
Glue gun
Glue sticks

You may purchase all of the above items at a discount store, online or craft store.

First bunch about ten to twelve calla lilies together. Keep the stems long on the silk or live flowers. Next, take the brown macramé rope and cut it for a natural look and tie the bunch of flowers together. Now warm up your glue gun and glue the bottom of the flower bouquet to the flat glass piece. Repeat process, until you have enough (about three to five per table) arrangements for your wedding dinner tables and wedding receptions.

You are already finished creating your calla lily wedding centerpieces.
