Are you looking for wedding centerpiece ideas? Have you got no clue where to start? Or maybe you know a little of what you want but not quiet sure how to do it. Well let me help you get those creative juices pumping and help you execute those fantastic centerpiece ideas you have.

I know traditionally flowers are in the center of the table but I think this generation has begun to kill that idea and come up with things that are less costly, more original, and a lot more eye-catching. That's why you won't find an idea here for flower centerpieces, just creative and unique wedding centerpiece ideas.

If you are planning a theme with greens and browns then a great centerpiece for you would be a rock garden. Simply go to a store and purchase a glass bowl for each table. Then purchase enough decorative rocks to fill each bowl about halfway. Then go to your local flower shop and purchase some bamboo. Place a few stalks of bamboo in between the rocks add a little water and you have a very pleasing centerpiece.

If you know someone or can find someone that does balloon art, then consider doing balloons. Don't think about the little circus animals that clowns make, but something a lot more elegant. I have seen 2 receptions with amazing balloon centerpieces where the artist has actually intermingled many balloons into couples dancing, flowers, cakes and even just unique shapes. This is definitely a very unique way to go.

Something that has become a little popular over the last few years is live fish. People will do bowls of floating candles with 2-3 fish in it. I myself did a winter wonderland theme where we had goldfish in a bowl with a plastic sheet on top of the bowl. Then we put a log cabin and a lego man with a fishing rod on top, sprayed fake snow and it gave the illusion that he was ice fishing. We also did two other centerpieces but everyone loved the ice fish man. In fact, we didn't have seating arrangements but those tables were full before other tables even had anyone on them.

I hope these wedding centerpiece ideas have helped you and you can now begin the next task...building the centerpiece.
