One of the top ways to reduce spending on a wedding reception is to make your own centerpieces. Homemade centerpieces have a way of also looking stylish and classy, or they can be easy and attractive, depending on the theme or tone of the ceremony. There are numerous ways a centerpiece can be made, in particular with seasonal decor or floral choices.

Weddings with a seasonal theme have the choice of including the respective colors and décor into the centerpiece. Fall weddings are usually seen with gold or red flowers, and mini pumpkins or tea lights as a centerpiece. Weddings during the winter months have the opportunity of combining red and silver colors with pinecones and other outdoor décor.

Candles are constantly a good choice for wedding centerpieces, because they offer a stylish feel for the wedding party, and they are created in various shapes and colors on any budget. Tea lights floating in vases with water and other floral petals or holders with pillar candles are effortless to create trouble-free centerpieces for any type of wedding.

Centerpieces accentuate the décor and manner of the dinner reception, so it is essential to plan something that will go with the general design of the space. They must also be styled more or less around the nuptials, for instance an intricate centerpiece display would not really go with a casual wedding or vice versa. The centerpiece should be a central point of a table, but not hamper the capability of visitors to mingle with each other around bulky vases of flowers or other centerpieces.

Wedding centerpieces do not have to be costly in order to be good-looking. There are numerous designs that can be done even a few flowers, outdoor décor, candles or even more exclusive items that can be included into the wedding decor. Another great idea being seen at more and more weddings is to allow for guests to take home the centerpiece at the end of the wedding for a thoughtful souvenir.
