One hour before the ceremony we had a cocktail party. Our guests ate cold hors d' oeuvres while mingling.
After the ceremony at 8:00pm, the hot hors d' oeuvres arrived. The drinks continued to roll out of the bar until the wedding reception ended at midnight.
We decided to have an open bar for beer, wine, and our signature drinks. Two signs, coordinating with the colors of our wedding, were placed on each end of the bar for our guests to read.
After the wedding I was told by many invitees that they absolutely loved the drinks featured. Most of them had never heard of the concoctions before, and were very pleased by how tasty they were.
The four signature drinks are listed below.

A lot of people are hesitant with having alcohol served all night at their wedding. Many people feeling like guest will get too wasted and cause a scene.
I recommend having a cocktail party theme throughout your wedding if the wedding is adults only, at night, and does not last more than six hours. I followed these three rules and there were no problems at my wedding. Everyone had an amazing time!
