Bridal Gowns Can Be Worn in Colors

Weddings can be held anywhere, anyplace and at any hour or day. Wedding gowns come in almost any color, size or price depending on their financial situation.

In the past, bridal gowns were usually white. it depicted virginity. Times have changed. Virginity no longer plays a part in the wedding gown color. At times, brides walk down the aisle obviously pregnant.

Visit any local Bridal Store. Check out the racks of modern day bridal attire. You will be amazed to see the color, style and bridal gown changes made for the bride and her wedding party in this generation.

Bridal gowns can be found in any color, style and length. Styles depend on the bride's preference, size, age and shape. Any color goes! Color schemes are based upon the wedding gown style and the bride's preference.

1. Pastels are in fashion these days for wedding gowns. There are bridal gowns in tangerine, yellow, lemon and lime. White could be in the lace and embroidery adorning the wedding dress the bride wears when walking down the aisle.

2. Bridal gowns are fashionable in red and black with a bit of white in the trim. In fact, some of the popular wedding gowns might lack a hint of white. The gowns are styled in a variety of colors. However, white is still a popular choice among many modern brides.

3. Years ago, a bride hid a baby bump when walking down the aisle. Today there are wedding gown styles created for just this reason and come in sizes up to 9 months to make her look good.

4. Weddings are not all the same. I guess you get the idea by now. Today is the 'anything' goes era! The bride has a choice of not wearing a veil or having her wedding in or out of doors. Many marry in a Hot Air Balloon. Others in their own backyard wearing jeans and a casual shirt.

5. Ask guests to dress according to the wedding theme. If money is an issue, ask guests to bring a favorite food for the wedding dinner. This Pot Luck Dinner should amply feed the wedding party.

6. A proper wedding is one be officiated by a Priest, Rabbi or a Justice of the Peace. It is up to the bride's choice. Some women get married by a licensed Notary. Anything goes as long as it is legal and binding.

Wedding planners charge a high fee for their services. It is worth it for those who can have money. If your financial situation are not great and you want to get married then plan your own wedding. Get the help of family members or friends. It is fun and can be adventurous. Most importantly would be that you have legally have become man and
wife.

My daughter just ordered her wedding dress (for June 2011) about a month ago. It was an eye opener to see how prepared these brides are when they arrive to try on dresses. Most already have several style names at the tip of the tongue.

I like the idea of colors instead of plain white. I know one woman who has been married 3 times and she continues to wear white.

Sondra, you've written another great article exposing our changing times. This report on trends in wedding gowns is up-to-the-minute. Like I said once before, you should go on the air or TV for social guidance with your wisdom.
