Wedding Trends 2010: The Latest Trends in Wedding Invitations for Fall

Joyce Carole
Planning a Fall wedding? Here are some of the latest trends in wedding invitations for Autumn weddings.

Tribal Print Wedding Invitations

Wedding invitations comprised of bold colors and bright patterns combined with sophisticated designs are increasingly popular with stylish brides. One of my favorite examples of a tribal print wedding invitation is the lovely "At Sunset" invitations by Sandstone Invitations. These unique tri-fold wedding invitations combine an apple green background with the silhouettes of a couple walking off into the sunset. The inscription beneath the picture says, "Live, Laugh, Love". These contemporary tribal print invitations are truly unique.

Destination Inspired Wedding Invitations

Today many brides are choosing destination weddings and fall is a perfect time to head to Punta Cana, Mexico or Hawaii for a dream destination wedding. Choosing a destination inspired wedding invitation sets the tone for your destination wedding. At Invitations by Dawn, brides looking for destination inspired wedding invitations can choose anything from the romantic"Beachside Breeze" invitation to kitsch "boarding pass invitations" featuring tropical palm trees or hibiscus flowers.

Seasonal Wedding Invitation Styles

Autumn means colorful leaves, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Brides who wish to incorporate popular fall themes into their wedding invitations can choose these subtle and elegant chocolate brown"Bountiful Harvest" invitations or the orange tea length "Pumpkin Passion" invitations, which come with coordinating merlot red envelopes.

Wedding Invitations with Art Deco Designs

Colors by Design offers brides-to-be a variety of retro American and art deco wedding invitations. Brides have been choosing art deco, vintage and retro American wedding invitations for the last few years and these styles will remain popular in 2010. Multicultural Wedding Invitations

Incorporating elements of the brides and grooms heritage into the wedding has been one of the most popular recent trends. A1 Wedding invitations offer several multicultural wedding invitations that celebrate African American culture. Etsy.com has a beautiful selection of Tuscan inspired wedding invitations that are perfect for those looking for multicultural invitations that celebrate their Italian heritage.

From tribal print wedding invitations to multicultural wedding invitations, brides-to-be planning a fall 2010 wedding have many gorgeous options in wedding invitations to choose from.

We just received a "Vintage" Wedding Invite. And, the wedding is all vintage, too, even the reception is being held at a historical mansion here in the Hudson Valley of NY. cheers :)

Nice to see variety instead of the plain formal stuff of years gone by.

Very interesting. Our wedding has come and gone and I do not foresee anymore in the future. But this is good information to pass on to friends who have children getting married. Well written
