#1 Oregon Ducks 1-0

The Ducks beat New Mexico 72-0 and held the Lobos to 107 total yards. This was a good tune-up game for Oregon before they play at Tennessee this Saturday. Chip Kelly got a chance to see QB Darron Thomas under center. Thomas finished the game 13/23 for 220 yards and 2 TD's. Star RB LaMichael James did not play because of a suspension, but RB Kenjon Barner had 147 yards and 4 TD's in his place.

#2 Arizona Wildcats 1-0

Arizona's defense was very impressive in a 41-2 victory at Toledo. QB Nick Foles proved that he could connect with his receivers down the field and the Wildcats passing game would not be limited to only stretching the field horizontally. DE's Ricky Elmore and Brooks Reed kept constant pressure on QB Austin Dantin. The Wildcats finished the game with 2 sacks, 7 TFL and 1 INT.

#3 USC Trojans 1-0

The Trojans won their first game in the Lane Kiffin era 49-36. Hawaii plays a lot of four WR sets, but USC should be very concerned with the 459 passing yards they gave up. Matt Barkley finished the game 18/23 for 257 yards and 5 TD's. In his first start at RB, Marc Tyler rushed for 154 yards and averaged 9.1 YPC. USC faces Virginia at home this week.

#4 Oregon State Beavers 0-1

The Beavers went on the road and faced #6 TCU and went into the 4th quarter only down by seven points. This was Beavers QB Ryan Katz first start. Katz finished 9/25 with 2 TD's and no picks. Quizz Rodgers finished the game with 75 rushing yards and 1 TD. WR James Rodgers caught 4 passes for 75 yards and 1 TD. There were a few deep balls that Katz barely missed on. OSU has a bye this week and plays Louisville at home on September 18th.

#5 Stanford Cardinal 1-0

The Cardinal beat Sacramento State 52-17. QB Andrew Luck was on fire and went 17/23 for 316 yards and 4 TD's. Stanford begins Pac-10 play this week when they travel to UCLA and the Bruins will be a tremendous step up in talent from the Sacramento State team the Cardinal faced last week.

#6 California Golden Bears 1-0

The Bears defeated U.C. Davis 52-3 and got a big contribution from Freshman WR Keenan Allen. Allen had 3 carries for 38 yards and 1 TD. Allen also had 4 receptions for 120 yards and 1 TD. California will face Colorado at home this week.

#7 Arizona State Sun Devils 1-0

The Sun Devils won their first game of the 2010 season 54-9 over Portland State. Michigan transfer QB Steven Threet won the QB competition over Brock Osweiler and finished the game 14/21 for 239 yards and 2 TD's. The ASU defense came up with 3 interceptions in this game. The Sun Devils face Northern Arizona this week.

#8 Washington Huskies 0-1

UW had a chance to win this game on their final drive, but a pass from Jake Locker fell incomplete on 4th down. BYU defeated Washington 23-17. When Steve Sarkisian reviews the film of this game he will see that his team had a lot of opportunities to make big plays that they did not capitalize on. The Huskies face Syracuse at home this week.

#9 UCLA Bruins 0-1

The Bruins fell to Kansas St. 31-21. Rick Neuhisel now finds his team in a must win situation when they face Stanford at home this week. The Bruins cannot go 0-2 to start this season with games against Houston and Texas in weeks three and four of the 2010 season.

#10 Washington State Cougars 0-1

The Cougars lost 65-17 to Oklahoma State. Washington State is now on a ten game losing streak. The Cougars face Montana State at home this week.
