Week 11: NFL Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups/Free Agents

Top 5 Additions to Your Fantasy Football Team for Week 11 of the 2010 Season

Michael Luchies
The bye weeks are over but there are still moves to make especially in deep leagues. Here are my top five additions for week 11 of the 2010 NFL Season.

#5. Mohamed Massaquoi, WR Cleveland Browns, Owned in 18% of leagues (Yahoo!)
The Browns are facing the fourth worst pass defense in the entire NFL on Sunday against the Jaguars. Massaquoi was somewhat shutdown against the Jets secondary but still managed a touchdown. Expect a good week from Massaquoi.

#4. Julius Jones, RB New Orleans Saints, Owned in 2% of Leagues (Yahoo!)
Julius had a 55 yard run last week and should put up enough points if you are desperate for a running back in a deep league.

#3. Marion Barber, RB Dallas Cowboys, Owned in 43% of Leagues (Yahoo!)
Marion Barber has not been having the year people had thought, and that is why he is available and a solid pickup for Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. This is Felix Jones' team, but Barber should get solid playing time and possibly a touchdown or two this Sunday.

#2. Seyi Ajirotutu, WR San Diego Chargers, Owned in 8% of Leagues (Yahoo!)
Ajirotutu now has three games in a row with multiple catches and went off in week 9 with 4 receptions for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Chargers are facing the Broncos in week 10, and if you are running short on receiver options, Ajirotutu is your man.

#1. Jon Kitna, QB Dallas Cowboys, Owned in 18% of Leagues (Yahoo!)
There couldn't be a better week to pickup and play Jon Kitna. Kitna looked very sharp against a much better defense than the Lions when he threw for three touchdowns and one interception against the Giants in Week 10. The Cowboys need to show the home crowd they still should be paying to see them, this week could get ugly although the Lions have been hanging tough in every game this season.

If Available: Also look at Shockey who on Yahoo is owned in less than half of all leagues.

Feel free to comment, please post other suggestions if you do not agree with these selections. Kitna is still only taken in less than 20% of leagues. Although you may have added him weeks ago, he is a free agent in most leagues and would be a great start this week against the Lions.
