Week 11 WR Rankings will be updated throughout the week
Week 11 --- QB Rankings --- RB Rankings --- WR Rankings --- TE Rankings --- Defense Rankings --- Waiver Wire Pickups --- Picks & Predictions --- Player Injury Updates
1. Calvin Johnson - Det = Car ----- In what was a massive disappointment for the Detroit Lions last week after they were beaten up badly by the rival Chicago Bears 37-13, Johnson still managed to haul in a respectable 7 catches for 81 yards. On the downside, the health of Matthew Stafford is once again a question mark, as he has a broken finger on his throwing hand. However Calvin Johnson is just too big of a threat to be ranked anywhere but #1 among fantasy football WRs this week.
2. Wes Welker - NE = KC ----- The reality of the situation is that this should be a cupcake matchup for the Patriots offense this week. I would expect Welker to haul in anything in the range of 6-12 receptions, 75-125 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown.
3. Greg Jennings - GB = TB ----- After demolishing the Minnesota Vikings secondary on Monday Night last week, there should be no worries about the Tampa Bay defense slowing down the Packers passing attack this week either. Jennings is always a good bet to rack up anything in the range of 5-10 receptions, 50-100 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown.
4. Dez Bryant - Dal = @Was ----- Bryant finally found the endzone in last weeks game, and with Miles Austin again out this week, Bryant should continue to be well targeted by Tony Romo. Add in a solid matchup against a weak Washington Redskins secondary, and the Cowboys passing attack has plenty of scoring potential in this game. 75-100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown is definitely within reach.
5. Steve Smith - Car = @Det ----- A huge disappointment in last weeks game, Smith will rely solely on just how healthy Cam Newton's shoulder is this week. But all in all, this matchup looks like it should call for a big time passing attack from the Panthers offense against a solid run defense of the Lions.
6. Vincent Jackson - SD = @Chi ----- With Ryan Mathews still nursing a groin injury and the Chicago Bears solid against the run anyway, it makes sense that Philip Rivers will once again take to the air if the Chargers offense plans on moving the ball down the field in this game.
7. Hakeem Nicks - NYG = Phi ----- The matchup on paper would be a tough one for Nicks against Nnamdi Ashomogua, but the Eagles defense just has not lived up to expectations, and if Nicks is nearly 100% healthy for this game, he could easily rack up 50-100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
8. Brandon Lloyd - StL = Sea ----- Solid matchup for Lloyd to rack up 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown if all goes well for the Rams passing attack in this game.
9. Roddy White - Atl = Ten ----- Once a staple of reliability in fantasy lineups, White has struggled mightily this season to develop any type of connection with Matt Ryan. While the injury questions continue to surround Roddy, the fact for fantasy teams is that White is just a gamble play with upside right now.
10. Larry Fitzgerald - Ari = @SF ----- After lighting up the star studded Philadelphia Eagles secondary in last weeks game, Fitzgerald and the Arizona passing attack will face another stiff challenge in San Francisco this week.
11. Jordy Nelson - GB = TB ----- Like anyone in the Packers offense, the boom game potential is always there for Nelson from week to week, but just be prepared in case someone else in the Packers offense goes off.
12. Laurent Robinson - Dal = @Was ----- 49% --- Looking like the real deal, Robinson should continue to excel with Miles Austin out of the Cowboys lineup. Right now there is no denying that Tony Romo likes throwing to Robinson, and a matchup against a susceptible Washington Redskins secondary could easily have Robinson topping the 100 receiving yard mark to go along with a touchdown this week.
13. Stevie Johnson - Buf = @Mia ----- Solid matchup for the Bills passing attack to finally have a nice stat output this week, but the reliability that was there early in the season has diasppeared lately between Johnson and Fitzpatrick.
14. Brandon Marshall - Mia = Buf ----- Very nice matchup for the surging Miami Dolphins offense this week. Marshall could easily hook up with Matt Moore for 75-125 receiving yards and 1 touchdown if all goes well.
15. Dwayne Bowe - KC = @NE ----- If Tyler Palko can throw a football, then Bowe does have a nice upside in this game against a very susceptible New England Patriots secondary.
16. Julio Jones - Atl = Ten ----- injury ? ----- If Jones could shake his injury bug, he could easily be a better starting WR in fantasy lineups than Roddy White right now.
17. Anquan Boldin - Bal = Cin ----- The loss of the Bengals best cover corner Leon Hall could easily open up a bunch of space for Boldin to haul in some nice receptions and yards in this game.
18. Victor Cruz - NYG = Phi ----- Definitely worthy of being a WR3 starter in all fantasy football lineups right now.
19. Deion Branch - NE = KC
20. Denarius Moore - Oak = @Min ----- 57% --- Moore has symbolized the classic boom/bust potential that usually accompanies extremely talented rookie wide receivers. After several weeks of bust performances, a boom performance occurred last week, and with a growing report with Carson Palmer, another boom performance could easily be in store for Moore this week as the Raiders face a very susceptible Vikings pass defense.
21. DeSean Jackson - Phi = @NYG ----- If you ask me, I don't want him starting in my fantasy football lineup. But that's just me.
22. Jeremy Maclin - Phi = @NYG ----- injury ? - OUT WILL NOT PLAY ----- In reality, Maclin could be ranked even lower this week based on his injury and the injury to Michael Vick.
23. Santonio Holmes - NYJ = @Den ----- Decent matchup for the Jets passing attack this week, but Holmes will likely have to deal with shutdown corner Champ Bailey this week.
24. Mario Manningham - NYG = Phi
25. Sidney Rice - Sea = @StL ----- injury ? concussion
26. Percy Harvin - Min = Oak
27. AJ Green - Cin = @Bal ----- injury ? knee - unlikely to play
28. Mike Williams - TB = @GB
29. Michael Crabtree - SF = Ari ----- 49% --- Crabtree is all about the IFS this week. IF Crabtree is healthy, IF Frank Gore is out, IF Braylon Edwards is out. Depending on these IF combinations, Crabtree could be an excellent play this week against a bad Arizona Cardinals pass defense. Lots of potential, but no reliability for fantasy football lineups this week.30. Torrey Smith - Bal = Cin ----- 58% --- With the Ravens offense passing the ball more than usual, Smith will continue to be a real threat in the passing game. Add in the injury to the Bengals best cornerback Leon Hall, and it is quite possible that the Ravens passing attack takes full advantage of a much weaker Bengals secondary in this matchup.
31. David Nelson - Buf = @Mia ----- 41% --- Always a threat to connect with Ryan Fitzpatrick, Nelson is a solid WR3 and flex starter in most fantasy football leagues this week.
32. Doug Baldwin - Sea = @StL ----- 26% --- Excellent matchup for the Seahawks offense this week, and the speedy Baldwin could easily haul in a long TD catch in this game. If fantasy teams are looking for a little boom potential, Baldwin offers just that. On the downside, Baldwin may have suffered a concussion in last weeks game so beware in case the Seahawks take it easy with him.
33. Vincent Brown - SD = @Chi ----- 7% --- A rookie who broke out big time in last weeks game, Brown is definitely Philip Rivers top target after Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates. With Malcom Floyd still nursing his injury, Brown should continue to receive plenty of playing time this week.
34. Earl Bennett - Chi = SD
35. Damian Williams - Ten = @Atl
36. Nate Washington - Ten = @Atl
37. Johnny Knox - Chi = SD
38. Steve Breaston - KC = @NE
39. James Jones - GB = TB
40. Michael Jenkins - Min = Oak 41. Malcom Floyd - SD = @Chi ----- injury ? - OUT WILL NOT PLAY
42. Plaxico Burress - NYJ = @Den ----- injury ?
43. Braylon Edwards - SF = Ari ----- injury ?
44. Mike Thomas - Jac = @Cle
45. Jabar Gaffney - Was = Dal
46. Jerome Simpson - Cin = @Bal
47. Davone Bess - Mia = Buf ----- 23% --- The hidden beneficiary of secondaries focusing on Brandon Marshall in the passing game.
48. Greg Little - Cle = Jac ----- 14% --- Nothing super special with Little this week, but the matchup is in his favor so he is worth a gamble start if need be.
49. Titus Young - Det = Car
50. Eric Decker - Den = NYJ
51. Jason Hill - Jac = @Cle ----- 7% --- With the Browns best cornerback Joe Haden likely covering Mike Thomas, Jason Hill should be the Jaguars WR with the best matchup and most likely to get open in this game.
52. Leonard Hankerson - Was = Dal ----- injury ? - OUT WILL NOT PLAY
53. Jonathan Baldwin - KC = @NE ----- 26% --- Potential, Potential, Potential.
54. Ben Obomanu - Sea = @StL ----- 1% --- Great matchup, and in extremely deep leagues, Obomanu is definitely worth a spot start if need be, especially with Sidney Rice and Doug Baldwin dealing with concussion suffered in last weeks game.
55. Roy Williams - Chi = SD
56. Devin Hester - Chi = SD
57. Nate Burleson - Det = Car
58. Harry Douglas - Atl = Ten
59. Darrius Heyward-Bey - Oak = @Min
60. Brandon Gibson - StL = Sea
61. Preston Parker - TB = @GB
62. Dane Sanzenbacher - Chi = SD
63. Danario Alexander - StL = Sea
64. Arrelious Benn - TB = @GB
65. Eddie Royal - Den = NYJ
66. Dezmon Briscoe - TB = @GB ----- 1% --- The Packers secondary gives up plenty of passing yards, and Briscoe is one of those down the depth chart wide receivers who could come in and burn the Packers for a TD catch.
67. Andre Roberts - Ari = @SF
68. Donald Driver - GB = TB
69. Andre Caldwell - Cin = @Bal
70. Brandon LaFell - Car = @Det
71. Jarett Dillard - Jac = @Cle
72. Demaryius Thomas - Den = NYJ
73. Naaman Roosevelt - Buf = @Mia
74. Early Doucet - Ari = @SF
75. Dexter McCluster - KC = @NE
76. Jacoby Ford - Oak = @Min ----- injury ?
77. Steve Smith - Phi = @NYG
78. Jason Avant - Phi = @NYG
79. Randall Cobb - GB = TB
80. Mark Clayton - StL = Sea ----- injury ?
81. Chad Ochocinco - NE = KC
82. Ted Ginn Jr - SF = Ari
83. Joshua Cribbs - Cle = Jac
84. Mike Williams - Sea = @StL
85. Matt Willis - Den = NYJ
86. Derek Hagan - Oak = @Min
87. Anthony Armstrong - Was = Dal
88. Devin Aromashodu - Min = Oak
89. Mohamed Massaquoi - Cle = Jac
90. Derrick Mason - Hou = bye
91. Golden Tate - Sea = @StL
92. Brian Hartline - Mia = Buf
93. Donnie Avery - Ten = @Atl
94. Brad Smith - Buf = @Mia
95. Julian Edelman - NE = KC
96. Brandon Tate - Cin = @Bal
97. Louis Murphy - Oak = @Min
98. Legedu Naanee - Car = @Det
99. Chaz Schilens - Oak = @Min
100. Deon Butler - Sea = @StL
101. Michael Spurlock - TB = @GB
102. Austin Pettis - StL = Sea
103. Brian Robiskie - Jac = @Cle
104. Marc Mariani - Ten = @Atl
105. Lee Evans - Bal = Cin ----- injury ?
106. Santana Moss - Was = Dal ----- injury ? unlikely to play
107. Miles Austin - Dal = @Was ----- injured - out - will not play
