Week 12 QB Rankings will be updated throughout the week.
Week 12 --- QB Rankings --- RB Rankings --- WR Rankings --- TE Rankings --- Defense Rankings --- Waiver Wire Pickups --- NFL Picks & Predictions
1. Aaron Rodgers - GB = @Det ----- Quite possibly the Packers toughest test so far this season, Rodgers will likely be looking at 40-50 passing attempts in this game. Right now it is hard to rank him anywhere but #1. A 3 or 4 or 5 touchdown performance his week is very possible.
2. Cam Newton - Car = @Ind ----- Love the matchup for Newton and the Panthers offense this week. An excellent stat output is very likely, with 2-3 touchdown easily within reach for Newton in this game.
3. Ben Roethlisberger - Pit = @KC ----- Fresh off the bye, I fully expect the Pittsburgh Steelers offense to rack up a good chunck of points in this game. 250-300 passing yards and 2 touchdowns is definitely possible and very likely for Roethlisberger in this game.
4. Tom Brady - NE = @Phi ----- Brady has not been exceptional in recent weeks, and a high profiled Eagles defense does pose some concern.
5. Tony Romo - Dal = Mia ----- The Miami defense is nothing special, and Romo now has healthy options in Dez Bryant, Laurent Robinson, Jason Witten, DeMarco Murray, and even Felx Jones for this game.
6. Drew Brees - NO = NYG ----- I'm guessing this is going to be a high scoring game between the Saints and Giants offenses. Brees should be a near shoe in for 300 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.
7. Matt Ryan - Atl = Min ----- The Minnesota Vikings secondary is awful right now, and Matt Ryan finally found an alive Roddy White last week. If Julio Jones can come back healthy in this game, then there is even more reason to believe in Matt Ryan this week.
8. Matthew Stafford - Det = GB ----- Expect lots of passing, passing, and passing from Stafford in this game. 350 passing yards is definitely possible, and 2-3-4 touchdowns are possible as well.
9. Michael Vick - Phi = NE ----- injury ? - unlikely to play ----- I personally don't trust him as a starter in my fantasy football lineup this week......but the matchup against a weak Patriots secondary is especially juicy if Vick is healthy.
10. Eli Manning - NYG = @NO ----- In the same boat as counterpart Drew Brees in this matchup. I would look for a good amount of passing from both teams.
11. Philip Rivers - SD = Den ----- What has happened in San Diego.......
12. Tim Tebow - Den = @SD - 60% ----- Just simply getting the job done in Denver right now, fantasy football teams in need of a QB should enjoy the Tebow ride now while they can. A matchup against a reeling San Diego Chargers defense this week could easily lead to 50-100 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns for Tebow in this game.
00. Vince Young - Phi = NE ----- If Michael Vick is out, then this is where I would rank Vince Young for this week.
13. Joe Flacco - Bal = SF ----- Facing the top run defense in the NFL this season, it makes sense that if the Ravens plan on moving the ball down the field, Joe Flacco will have to lead the way.
14. Carson Palmer - Oak = Chi - 64% ----- Maybe the Raiders weren't so crazy after all when they traded the house for Palmer a month ago. A matchup against a pressure Chicago Bears defense does not look great for Palmer this week, but the Bears secondary has shown to be susceptible.
15. Josh Freeman - TB = @Ten ----- Freeman came alive in last weeks game against the Packers, but then again name a QB who hasn't.......
16. Andy Dalton - Cin = Cle - 43% ----- Playing almost like a wiley veteran in last weeks game against a very tough Baltimore Ravens defense, Dalton faces a much easier matchup this week against a not-so-great Cleveland Browns defense. Add in the possible return of AJ Green, and Dalton should be ranked as an easy top 15 fantasy football QB this week.
17. Sam Bradford - StL = Ari - 32% ----- An excellent matchup pushes up Bradford's potential this week. 200-250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdowns are definitely within reach for Bradford in this game.
18. Mark Sanchez - NYJ = Buf - 66% ----- Sanchez is not a great stats QB, but a matchup against an awful Buffalo Bills pass defense could easily change things for Sanchez this week. If your team just lost Jay Cutler or Matt Schaub, Sanchez is a solid gamble as a spot starter in your lineup this week.
19. Matt Moore - Mia = @Dal - 8% ----- Playing extremely well in recent weeks, Matt Moore is definitely using his offensive weapons to the fullest. Another game of at least 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdowns is within reach for Moore in this game.
20. Rex Grossman - Was = @Sea - 6% ----- The revival of Rex Grossman continues, and just imagine how good Grossman could be if he actually had a wide receiving corps to throw to. At least TE Fred Davis is pretty good..... and maybe Jabar Gaffney counts as well.
21. Matt Hasselbeck - Ten = TB ----- injury ?
22. Christian Ponder - Min = @Atl
23. Alex Smith - SF = @Bal
24. Tarvaris Jackson - Sea = Was
25. Ryan Fitzpatrick - Buf = @NYJ
26. Matt Leinart - Hou = @Jac - 10% ----- You don't know unless you try right? Should be a good starter game for Leinart to see what he is made of. Maybe a few seasons on the bench has helped....
27. Caleb Haine - Chi = @Oak
28. Colt McCoy - Cle = @Cin
29. Kevin Kolb - Ari = @StL
30. John Skelton - Ari = @StL
31. Blaine Gabbert - Jac = Hou
32. Curtis Painter - Ind = Car
33. Tyler Palko - KC = Pit
BACKUPS
34. Vince Young - Phi = NE
35. Jake Locker - Ten = TB
36. John Beck - Was = @Sea
37. Shaun Hill - Det = GB
38. Mike Kafka - Phi = NE
INJURED
Jay Cutler - Chi = @Oak ----- injury ? broken finger likely out 6 weeks
Matt Cassel - KC = Pit ----- injured
Matt Schaub - Hou = @Jac ----- injured
