Week 13 FOX Games
Atlanta @ Tampa Bay
The best match up looks to be between Tampa Bay and Atlanta in a game that will be played in Tampa Bay's home venue. A majority of games this time of season have playoff implications and the Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay game is important because these teams can still win their division and receive home field for at least one game in the playoffs. The two teams can also still win best record and home field throughout the NFC playoff so the concentration level will be high.
Washington @ New York Giants
Washington plays the New York Giants at the New Meadowlands Stadium in a game which might determine who will win the NFC East... both of these teams are still be able to win their division.
Chicago @ Detroit
Chicago goes to Detroit next week in a FOX game that finds the Bears still able to win the NFC North...They're fighting with Green Bay for the lead. Both these teams can still get home field throughout the playoffs so every game is important...in other words they both need to keep on winning.
San Francisco @ Green Bay
Green Bay still needs to keep winning as I mentioned and their week 13 opponent the San Francisco 49ers at 3-7 can believe-it-or-not still make the playoffs as a division winner...Seattle leads the NFC West with 5-5 record. The 49ers need this win, badly.
Carolina @ Seattle
In a late afternoon FOX game next Sunday the Carolina Panthers travel to Seattle to visit the Seahawks in a game the Seahawks need to win to keep distance between themselves and the other teams in their division and to establish some kind of momentum heading for the playoffs...they're in the driver's seat in the NFC West.
New Orleans @ Cincinnati
New Orleans visits Cincinnati in a game that the Saints would like to win to try to gain home field advantage in the playoffs...the Bengals are not eliminated from the playoffs yet, but their momentum has them sliding out of control and most people assume a five-game winning streak to get them to 7-9 is unlikely and that probably won't even get them into the postseason.
St Louis @ Arizona
St Louis visits Arizona in a game that features two teams with a very outside chance of getting into postseason action...they both have to start winning in week 12 and really can't afford to lose at all until the end of the season. That's not likely...the Rams and the Cardinals don't have a recent history of winning and injuries aren't their problem...talent is.
Dallas @ Indianapolis
Dallas visits Indianapolis in another late afternoon FOX broadcast which the Colts need to win...they're very good at home and Dallas is very close to being eliminated from the playoffs...the Cowboys will still have pride on display, though.
Here's the Sunday December 5th FOX NFL football programming schedule.
