Week 13 - QB Rankings

1. Peyton Manning - Ind = Ten
Manning hasn't been putting up the gaudy stats we have become accustomed to, but with 309 passing yards and 3 touchdowns in their matchup earlier this season, I fully expect Manning to put up solid stats in this game. 300 passing yards and 2-3 touchdowns seem like a good bet.

2. Tom Brady - NE = @Mia
Brady put up just 1 touchdown in this matchup earlier in the season, but he also tallied 332 passing yards in that game as well. Considering that the Miami secondary is loaded with rookies, I fully expect Brady to have a good game in this matchup. 300 passing yards, 2-3 touchdowns.

3. Brett Favre - Min = @Ari
If the Cardinals defense can give up 387 passing yards to Vince Young last week, I can only imagine what the gun-slinging Favre will do against them this week. Another 300 plus passing yards is very possible in this game, as well as 2-3 touchdowns.

4. Matt Schaub - Hou = @Jac
Can't deny this great matchup for the Texans offense against the Jaguars struggling defense. With Slaton working his way back into more playing time, and Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter healthy, Schaub has a full compliment of weapons in this game. 300 passing yards and 2-3 touchdowns seem like a great bet.

5. Philip Rivers - SD = @Cle
Great matchup for Rivers and the Chargers offense, which means Tomlinson may steal a touchdown or two from Rivers in this one. Still a matchup against the Browns defense is exactly what fantasy teams want. 250-300 passing yards, 2-3 touchdowns.

6. Aaron Rodgers - GB = Bal
If the Packers offensive line can hold up against an excellent pass rushing Ravens defense, Rodgers could be great in this game. However I think Rodgers will be under a good amount of pressure, so temper your expectations just a bit. With that said, Rodgers can still light up the stat column and is a must start on fantasy teams no matter the matchup. 250-300 passing yards, 2 touchdowns.

7. Drew Brees - NO = @Was
8. Donovan McNabb - Phi = @Atl
9. Carson Palmer - Cin = Det
10. Kurt Warner - Ari = Min / injury ? concussion

11. Ben Roethlisberger - Pit = Oak / injury ? concussion
12. Jay Cutler - Chi = StL
13. Eli Manning - NYG = Dal
14. Tony Romo - Dal = @NYG
15. Kyle Orton - Den = @KC / SLEEPER
16. Alex Smith - SF = @Sea / SLEEPER
17. Vince Young - Ten = @Ind / SLEEPER
18. Joe Flacco - Bal = @GB
19. Matt Hasselbeck - Sea = SF
20. David Garrard - Jac = Hou

21. Mark Sanchez - NYJ = @Buf
22. Ryan Fitzpatrick - Buf = NYJ
23. Matt Cassel - KC = Den
24. Jason Campbell - Was = NO
25. Matthew Stafford - Det = @Cin
26. Josh Freeman - TB = @Car
27. Kyle Boller - StL = @Chi / DEEP SLEEPER
38. Chris Redman - Atl = Phi / DEEP SLEEPER
29. Bruce Gradkowski - Oak = @Pit
30. Matt Moore - Car = TB / DEEP SLEEPER

31. Chad Henne - Mia = NE
32. Brady Quinn - Cle = SD
33. Dennis Dixon - Pit = Oak
34. Matt Leinart - Ari = Min
35. Pat White - Mia = NE
36. Chris Simms - Den = @KC
37. Trent Edwards - Buf = NYJ
38. JaMarcus Russell - Oak = @Pit

OUT or UNLIKELY TO PLAY:

Matt Ryan - Atl = Phi / injury ? / OUT - WILL NOT PLAY
Jake Delhomme - Car = TB / injury ? broken finger
Marc Bulger - StL = @Chi / broken leg
IR = Chad Pennington - Mia

    Charles,
I'd stick with Cutler. Great matchup for him and I could easily see him throwing for 300 yards in this game.

I'm in the same situation as Eric, except I have Tom Brady and Favre.... Which one should I start?

  • matt travis12/4/2009

i would go with manning because he`s home and only playing the tennese

Eric, I would agree with starting Favre or Rodgers this week. It's real close, but the Baltimore defense could make it a rough game for Rodgers and the offensive line. Favre seems like a safer play.

I have Favre and Rogers on my fantasy team. I'm leaning toward starting Favre for the first time this year. Any opinions?
