Week 13 - RB Rankings

1. Chris Johnson - Ten = @Ind
Entering this week with 6 consecutive 100 plus rushing yard games, I see no reason why any fantasy football manager would want any other RB in his lineup than Johnson right now. 100 total yards is money in the bank, and an overall stat line approaching 100-150 rushing yards and 1-2 touchdowns seems reasonable to expect from Johnson this week.

2. Thomas Jones - NYJ = @Buf
In terms of reliability week in and week out, Jones is seemingly a poor mans version of Chris Johnson at RB for fantasy teams. Over his last 6 games, Jones hasn't tallied less than 75 rushing yards in any one of those games, while also totaling 4 touchdowns over those 6 games as well. Combine that with the fact that Buffalo's defense gives up an average of 165 rushing yards per game and it looks like Jones should be in store for an exceptional stat line in this game. Oh and by the way, Jones tallied 210 rushing yards and 1 touchdown in this matchup earlier in the season. I fully expect 100-150 rushing yards and 1-2 touchdowns from Jones in this game.

3. LaDainian Tomlinson - SD = @Cle
I'm breaking the bank this week and giving Tomlinson some credit that has been well deserved over the past three weeks, as he has tallied 5 touchdowns in the last 3 games, and 7 touchdowns over his last 5 games. And yes the total yards have not been there, but the touchdowns just seem to be raining down on Tomlinson's stat line right now. I fully expect at least 1 touchdown in this game, with 2 very possible and 3 not out of the question. Combine that with a guaranteed 50 rushing yards, and you can expect numbers in the range of 50-100 rushing yards and 1-3 touchdowns from Tomlinson this week.

4. Maurice Jones-Drew - Jac = Hou
Granted Jones-Drew has struggled over the past two games, but when these teams matched up against each other earlier in the season, Jones-Drew went off for 119 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Keep MJD in your lineup and expect numbers in the range of 100-150 total yards and 1-2 touchdowns.

5. DeAngelo Williams - Car = TB
I absolutely love this matchup for the Panthers running game as the Tampa Bay defense has given up an average of 160 rushing yards per game this year. However, I do believe Jonathan Stewart will be the TD vulture in this game which will ultimately limit DeAngelo's fantasy value this week. Yet a long TD run is always possible from this playmaker. 150-175 total yards, 1 touchdown possible.

6. Adrian Peterson - Min = @Ari
Solid matchup, but Peterson is definitely struggling once again with his fumbling problems. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikings offense take the aerial route once again this week and let Brett Favre sling the ball around. Not to mention Favre's gun-slinging might be needed if the Cardinals have Kurt Warner back at QB in this game, as it could easily be a passing shootout. Still Peterson is a solid play, and 75-100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is possible.

7. Rashard Mendenhall - Pit = Oak
Great matchup for Mendenhall, as the Raiders defense has given up 161 rushing yards per game this season. In terms of a safer play, Mendenhall would be a better starter than Benson, and real close to overtaking Adrian Peterson and Frank Gore this week. 100-140 rushing yards, 1-2 touchdowns.

8. Frank Gore - SF = @Sea
Gore hasn't been the fantasy god that many expect from him over recent weeks, but with a matchup against Seattle in store for this week, it is downright hard to ignore his 207 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on just 16 carries that he tallied against the Seahawks in their week 2 matchup. A breakout game could be in store, but just don't bank on it. 100-150 total yards and 1 touchdown.

9. Cedric Benson - Cin = Det
Outstanding matchup, but Benson hasn't played in two weeks and he isn't a guarantee to play in this game either. If Benson is back and fully healthy, I would anticipate numbers in the range of 75-125 rushing yards and 1-2 touchdowns.

10. Pierre Thomas - NO = @Was
With Albert Haynesworth out for the Redskins, Thomas offers fantasy teams some very solid scoring potential this week. 75-100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is possible.
