Week 13 - TE Rankings

1. Antonio Gates - SD = @Cle
Gates finally broke out last week with 7 receptions for 118 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. A matchup against the lowly Cleveland Browns defense should lead to another excellent game for Gates this week. 50-100 receiving yards, 1 touchdown.

2. Tony Gonzalez - Atl = Phi
With Matt Ryan out, Gonzalez is sure to be Chris Redmen's favorite target in this game. Combine that with the fact that the Eagles defense is terrible at covering tight ends, and Gonzalez seems like a money in the bank play this week. 5-8 receptions for 50-100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

3. Dallas Clark - Ind = Ten
Finally ceding the #1 TE ranking, Clark is still a premiere fantasy TE play this week. 50-100 receiving yards is a near guarantee, with a touchdown always possible.

4. Vernon Davis - SF = @Sea
Davis was very quiet in this matchup earlier in the season as he posted just 2 receptions for 32 yards. However with Shaun Hill no longer the QB and Alex Smith playing very well, I fully expect Davis to continue his TE dominance in this game. 50-100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown is possible.

5. Greg Olsen - Chi = StL
In terms of overall stat potential for this week, I think Olsen deserves the #4 TE ranking over Tony Gonzalez. However in terms of reliability, Gonzalez has the advantage. The chemistry is really starting to develop between Cutler and Olsen, so this matchup is very enticing for fantasy teams this week. I wouldn't be surprised to see Olsen tally 8 receptions for 80 receiving yards and 1 touchdown in this game. Just don't take that to the bank though.
