Week 14 - WR Rankings

Week 14 WR Rankings - Start & Sit Advice. Week 14 WR Rankings are based on the best matchups and highest potential fantasy football point outcomes among all WR in Week 14. Use these Week 14 WR Rankings to help you decide which WR to start this week. If you have any comments or questions, you can post in the comment box below the rankings.

Week 14 - WR Rankings

1. Larry Fitzgerald - Ari = @SF
With Warner back in action last week, Fitzgerald promptly reminded fantasy teams that you should never bench your studs. Assuming Warner's hip injury isn't too serious and he starts in this game, Fitzgerald should contend for 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown in this game.

2. Andre Johnson - Hou = Sea
Much like Fitzgerald above, Johnson's ranking this week hinges on his QB being healthy. If Matt Schaub starts and is good to go in this game, then Johnson has the potential for 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

3. Marques Colston - NO = @Atl
Great matchup for Colston and the Saints passing attack, but with so many receiving weapons emerging for Brees to throw to, Colston is anything but a sure bet. Still you have to play your stud in this matchup, and 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown is definitely possible for Colston in this game.

4. Randy Moss - NE = Car
Moss didn't dominate the stat line last week, but he still managed enough stats to satisfy fantasy teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Patriots come out gunning the ball in this game, as their playoff hopes dwindled in last weeks loss. I don't think losing is an option for the Patriots this week, so I fully expect Moss to have a big game in this one. 100 receiving yards, 1 touchdown.

5. Brandon Marshall - Den = @Ind
With the Colts likely to score their share of points in this game, I think the Broncos will have to air it out more than normal to win. Currently a game behind the San Diego Chargers in the division, this is a very important game for the Broncos to win to have a realistic chance at claiming the division. 100 receiving yards and 1 touchdown is very possible from Marshall in this game.

Hey Keith, thanks! I would say that if you are able to get Meachem off waivers, then I would start him for either Ocho or Austin. I do like Wayne this week, as I don't see him resting at all in this game. I think Ocho is the WR I would probably bench Meachem for. I just think he will have a hard time scoring against the Vikings D this week.

Always great work, Hawk. Need to win to make the playoffs. Planning on starting Wayne, Austin, and Ochocinco for WR, non-PPR.

I might be able to score Meachem off waivers. Is he worth plugging in? Ocho is dependent on Palmer. Wayne is a stud, but the rest-factor combined with the possible return of Gonzalez is concerning.

    Erik,
actually benching Sims-Walker might be ok, because he didn't practice today and is having knee injury problems. so Meachem would be a lot safer play than Sims-Walker

so i have v. jackson, rice, and sims walker starting, do i chance switching one out for meachem?

  • Hawk Michaels12/10/2009

Kevin, pretty the same situation that just posted for Ben. Weather Good = Holmes. Weather Bad = Jennings.

  • Hawk Michaels12/10/2009

Ben, thanks! I think it just depends on the weather for the Steelers game tonight. If it's really windy and snowing, then go with Austin. If the weather is decent, go with Holmes.

  • Kevin12/10/2009

should i start holmes or jennings

  • Ben12/9/2009

Hey Hawk, great advice last week. Austin or Holmes?

  • Hawk Michaels12/9/2009

Dan, I'd go with Sidney Rice at WR and Ahmad Bradshaw at RB

  • Dan12/8/2009

What do you think, Miles Austin or Sidney Rice?

Also Armad Bradshaw or Kevin Smith?
