Week 16 NFL Scores Led by Ravens Vs. Steelers and Broncos Vs. Eagles
NFL Game Scores in Week 16 Control the Destiny's of Many NFL Teams
There are a couple of games that lead the way in importance on the NFL schedule, and those two NFL game scores will be watched very closely on Sunday. The first game is the Ravens vs. Steelers, which pits the 8-6 Baltimore Ravens against the 7-7 Pittsburgh Steelers. Before the first snap, the Ravens hold one of the two AFC Wild Card slots and all they have to do is win their final two games this season to clinch a playoff berth. The Steelers need to knock them off, and several other 7-7 teams also want to see the Ravens lose so that they have a chance to get to the playoffs.
The other important week 16 NFL score comes from Philadelphia, where the Denver Broncos play the Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Denver is the other current AFC Wild Card holder, sitting at 8-6 and controlling their own destiny for the rest of the season. If they win their final two games, they also clinch an AFC Wild Card spot, but they have to win those games first. Philadelphia wants to beat them to potentially clinch the NFC East, and cement the #3 seed heading into the NFC Playoffs. If the Eagles win and the Cowboys lose, then the Eagles win the NFC East.
Several other games a very important in regards to playoff seedings and qualifications. In the Texans vs. Dolphins game both AFC teams are 7-7, and 7-7 Jacksonville plays New England to keep their hopes alive. Then there is the Panthers vs. Giants game that the Giants have to win to stay alive, and finally the New York Jets vs. Colts game where the Colts seek to continue their undefeated season and the Jets try to stay alive for the post-season. There is lots of great football to be had during week 16 of the NFL schedule.
