Week 3 NFL predictions and picks aren't going to be easy. We are back with the week 3 NFL predictions though, after having another successful week in the NFL. Our season record sits at 23-9 in the predictions after two weeks, and now it's time to take on the toughest week of the schedule so far. The first two games are going to be a couple of the toughest of all, with Atlanta playing New England and Tennessee traveling to play the New York Jets. Yes folks, it's going to be quite the week in the NFL this time around, and this one has several other interesting match-ups to chat about.

The docket for any fan of the NFL needs to include the match-up of two teams trying to get back to greatness. The San Francisco 49ers head to Minnesota to offer up a running back challenge between Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson. Both teams are 2-0 so far this season, meaning that this game will send someone to 3-0 for the first time in a while. Can Brett Favre send the Vikings to a 3-0 record? Yes, yes he can, and yes he will. The Vikings will take this one in the fourth quarter. In the Monday night match-up we have Carolina traveling to Dallas, but Dallas is going to be really mad about losing the home opener to their new stadium. Look for them to come out quick and fast this Monday.

Week 3 could also be the week for a ton of offense, as there are quite a few teams that are mis-matched as well this time around. Houston gets Jacksonville, Philadelphia gets Kansas City, and Green Bay gets St. Louis. This could be the week that Michael Vick takes over the Eagles, and that could make this another game to watch. My game of the week pick goes to the Indianapolis vs. Arizona match-up on Sunday night football, where there should be a good battle of quarterbacks. Look for Peyton Manning to show is capabilities in this one right from the start of the first quarter.
