Week 5 Fantasy QB Rankings

Nick Meyer
Here is a look at the QB rankings for this week in the NFL in fantasy football. Matchups play a big role when it comes to QBs.

Week 5 Fantasy QB Rankings

1. Drew Brees-

As long he keeps putting up big numbers like he did back at Purdue, keep playing Brees, even against a good Vikings defense.

2. Philip Rivers-

Miami had a good game against New England but expect their secondary to be exposed this week against the Chargers leading to big fantasy points for Rivers.

3. Tony Romo-

Cincinnati is a mess and that will allow Romo to get back on track this week.

4. Jay Cutler-

He could throw a pick or two but expect big yards against Tampa Bay from Cutler and his emerging WR corps.

5. Jake Delhomme-

Panthers face a bad KC team at home meaning big fantasy points for Delhomme as Steve Smith continues to regain his old form.

6. Brian Griese-

At Denver against a mediocre defense, Griese will put the ball up plenty of times for Jon Gruden.

7. Peyton Manning-

He hasn't looked right but hopefully the bye week healed him. He could have a better day against Houston.

8. Donovan McNabb-

Tough matchup against Washington but Philly won't be able to run the ball much so he'll get his fantasy points.

9. Jason Campbell-

He has looked much better in recent weeks and could be a worthy number one QB with more consistency.

10. Jon Kitna-

Lions will either have a big day after the bye week or they'll be far behind and forced to throw all day against the Bears.
