Week 5 Football Picks by RV

Most Favorites Will Win Huge This Week

Robin Vinci
I am 34-23-1 for the year. Last week was not my best, but each week is different. So, lets see who is going to win in week 5.

Minnesota -10

Brett Favre will have a let down, but Adrian Peterson will run for 250 yards. St. Louis is as bad as can be. Take the Vikes minus the points.

Minnesota 34, St. Louis 17

Kansas City +9

Kansas City is a pathetic team. Dallas needs to get on track. This just may be the game, but I wouldn't bet on it. I'm not betting this game but I would take the points.

Dallas 24, Kansas City 16

Carolina -3 ½

I just don't like the Redskins. Washington is another very bad team right now. Take the Panthers minus the points.

Carolina 23, Washington 17

Philadelphia - 13 ½

I am taking another favorite, but how can anyone take Tampa Bay right now, A blow-out is no problem for the Eagles. Give up any amount of points here.

Philadelphia 38, Tampa Bay 13

New York -16

It seems all really good teams are playing all very bad teams this week. The Giants are for real. Again, we have a blow-out in New York's first home game of the year. Giants are still on track for the Super Bowl.

New York 30, Oakland 10

Cleveland + 6

Not every game can be a blow-out. Cleveland looked better last week while the Bills were pathetic. I'll take the points.

Buffalo 17, Cleveland 16

Baltimore - 8 ½

Baltimore lost to the Patriots last week and will be out for vengeance. I like the Ravens minus the points against the Bengals.

Baltimore 32, Cincinnati 16

Pittsburgh -10 ½

Detroit can score, but they let other teams score much more. Pittsburgh found its groove last week. Give up the points.

Pittsburgh 35, Detroit 20

Atlanta + 2 ½

Wow. I like an underdog! I even like Atlanta to even win outright. The 49ers are playing well, but I'll take the Falcons in my upset of the week.

Atlanta 28, San Francisco 24

New England -3 ½

I have been betting against my Patriots all year. It is time for that to stop. Patriots win a shoot-out. Give up the points and watch Denver lose its first game of the season.

New England 38, Denver 28

Houston + 5 ½

Both Houston and Arizona have been up and down all year. I think the Cardinals will pull this out by a field goal, so I will grab the points.

Arizona 29, Houston 26

Jacksonville -3

Seattle looked so bad last week. It's hard to bet on them. The Jaguars are getting better. A close game, but I'll take Jacksonville.

Jacksonville 28, Seattle 23

Indianapolis -3

I am done with taking Tennessee. The Colts and Peyton Manning have been spectacular. I'm grabbing Indianapolis.

Indianapolis 33, Tennessee 21

Jets - 1 ½

I still believe in the Jets. Miami had a big win last week, but the Jets show why they are so good this Monday night. Give up the points. Take team gangreen.

New York 27, Miami 17
