Week 6 --- QB Rankings --- RB Rankings --- WR Rankings --- TE Rankings --- D Rankings --- Waiver Pickups --- Matchup Picks
.
QUARTERBACK
15. Jason Campbell - Oak = Cle --- 29% ----- If you need a spot starting QB this week, Campbell is likely your best pickup option, as he is currently available in over 70% of 10 team leagues. A matchup against the Cleveland Brown at home in Oakland also bodes well for his stat line this week. Anything in the 200-225 passing yard and 1-2 touchdown range seems like a good possibility.
17. Mark Sanchez - NYJ = Mia --- 64% ----- I personally am not a big fan of Sanchez as a fantasy football QB, but with a matchup in store against an injured ravaged Dolphins secondary, the potential for 200 passing yards and 1 touchdown is within reach for Sanchez this week.
18. Colt McCoy - Cle = @Oak --- 33% ----- Nothing special here with McCoy, but you could do worse if you need a spot starting QB this week.
19. Andy Dalton - Cin = Ind --- 14% ----- Just 5 games into their NFL careers, the Andy Dalton to AJ Green connection is looking like it could be a good one for years to come. A matchup against a poor Colts defense this week could have Dalton reaching stats in the 200-250 passing yard and 1-2 touchdown range in this game.
.
RUNNING BACK
23. Ryan Grant - GB = StL --- 63% ----- Yes Grant is splitting carries with James Starks, but a matchup against a weak Rams defense could have Grant eyeing the end zone in this game. If you are looking for a solid starting flex option this week, Ryan Grant is worth the gamble. 50 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is possible.
29. Stevan Ridley - NE = Dal --- 54% ----- After all the hype leading into last weeks game, Ridley came away the clear loser in the Patriots running attack, as Green-Ellis was the obvious #1 rushing option. With that said, there is still plenty of potential surround Ridley, as he offers the Patriots a faster, quicker and younger option out of the backfield.
31. Pierre Thomas - NO = @TB --- 52% ----- Even though Thomas only gets about 10 touches a game, he still manages to tally a few yards, with the potential for more always possible. This weeks matchup against a reeling Tampa Bay defense could lead to a solid effort for Thomas.
36. Montario Hardesty - Cle = @Oak --- 13% ----- Solid matchup for the Browns running game this week, and Hardesty should continue to see some touches as the grumblings surrounding Peyton Hillis continue.
38. Delone Carter - Ind = @Cin --- 11% ----- Depending on the severity of Joseph Addai's hamstring injury, this could be the week that Carter takes over as the lead back for the Colts. 20 touches is possible.
28. Ryan Torain - Was = Phi --- 50% ----- After the Redskins bye last week, Torain is somewhat of the forgotten RB after his breakout performance two weeks ago. Still available in 50% of 10 team leagues, Torain is worth picking up and starting as a flex option this week.
00. Jackie Battle - KC = bye --- 9% ----- Jackie clearly won the Battle in the Chiefs rushing attack last week, and even with a bye scheduled for this week, Battle is worth a waiver wire pickup if you need RB help and can afford to waste a roster spot this week.
.
WIDE RECEIVER
26. Denarius Moore - Oak = Cle --- 72% ----- After a huge breakout game a few weeks ago, Moore has been essentially invisible the past two weeks. Maybe a matchup against the so-so Cleveland Browns defense will breathe some life back into Moore's fantasy value this week.
30. Lance Moore - NO = @TB --- 66% ----- Even though there are plenty of options in the Saints offense, Moore is one of the steady and reliable producers that should be owned in more than 66% of 10 team leagues. A matchup against the Tampa Bay defense offers plenty of upside for the Saints passing attack this week.
31. Johnny Knox - Chi = Min --- 59% ----- Knox is back in the starting lineup where he belongs, and the Minnesota pass defense is nothing special. Expect Knox to get a good amount of looks from Jay Cutler in this game.
34. Jerome Simpson - Cin = Ind --- 19% ----- Playing alongside AJ Green, Simpson has been the perfect compliment in the Bengals offense, and Andy Dalton has no problem going to him.
42. Antonio Brown - Pit = Jac --- 34% ----- Climbing up the Steelers WR depth chart, Brown is the second best receiving option in the Steelers offense behind Mike Wallace right now.
46. Titus Young - Det = SF --- 10% ----- With Matthew Stafford spreading the ball around, Young is always a flyer option as a flex starter in fantasy football leagues right now.
47. James Jones - GB = StL --- 11% ----- Whenever you are dealing with a member of the Packers offense, you never know who will bust out with a great game. Jones finally had his last week, and a matchup against the Rams offers plenty of upside to lead to big things this week as well.
48. Darrius Heyward-Bey - Oak = Cle --- 7% ----- A nice breakout game from Heyward-Bey last week, maybe he is finally starting to get some rhythm down with Jason Campbell.
58. Danario Alexander - StL = @GB --- 12% ----- The Packers defense has had plenty of problems against opposing offenses passing attacks so far this season, and the big and physical Alexander poses a solid threat this week.
59. Laurent Robinson - Dal = @NE --- 4% ----- Considering that the Patriots pass defense has been nearly awful so far this season, you have to like Robinson's chances of single coverage while Dez Bryant and Miles Austin receive all of the defenses attention.
60. Torrey Smith - Bal = Hou --- 39% ----- With Mario Williams injured for the Texans defense this week, Joe Flacco just received more passing time to find his receivers in this game.
62. Mohamed Massaquoi - Cle = @Oak --- 7% ----- Someone has to catch some balls in the Browns offense right? The Oakland Raiders secondary should give up some yards this week.
.
TIGHT END
9. Brandon Pettigrew - Det = SF --- 75% ----- The safety blanket for Matthew Stafford, Pettigrew should continue to grow into a solid and reliable TE option for fantasy football teams this season. Add in plenty of red zone potential, and Pettigrew could easily end the 2011 season as a top 10 scoring TE in fantasy football leagues.
13. Jermaine Gresham - Cin = Ind --- 57%
15. Ed Dickson - Bal = Hou --- 15%
16. Fred Davis - Was = Phi --- 38%
20. Jake Ballard - NYG = Buf --- 2%
.
DEFENSE
7. Cincinnati Bengals = Ind --- 25%
10. Oakland Raiders = Cle --- 10%
11. Atlanta Falcons = Car --- 32%
16. Buffalo Bills = @NYG --- 11%
