Week 7 RB Rankings - player profiles and stat projections will be updated throughout the week

Week 7 --- QB Rankings --- RB Rankings --- WR Rankings --- TE Rankings --- D Rankings --- Waiver Pickups --- Picks & Predictions

1. Darren McFadden - Oak = KC ----- Excellent matchup for the Raiders offense this week as they face a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has allowed a league worst 30 points per game so far this season. McFadden should have not problem topping the 100 rushing yard plateau, with 150 total yards and 1-2 touchdowns possible.

2. Matt Forte - Chi = @TB ----- There is no denying that the Bears offense revolves around Matt Forte, and this week should be no different. 100 total yards seems like a guaranteed bet, with a touchdown easily within reach as well.

3. Arian Foster - Hou = @Ten ----- The Titans defense has been decent so far this season, but Arian Foster is getting healthier and he offers just too much potential both rushing and receiving to expect anything less than 100 total yards, and a touchdown is always possible.

4. Ray Rice - Bal = @Jac ----- The Jaguars defense is nothing special, and I would expect Rice to rack up his usual 100 total yards in this game.

5. Michael Turner - Atl = @Det ----- For as good as the Lions defense has been this season, they still allow an average of 129 rushing yards per game to opponents so far this season, which is 7th worst in the NFL entering this week. Turner has plenty of hope for 80-100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown in this game.

6. Rashard Mendenhall - Pit = @Ari ----- After missing a week due to injury, Mendenhall looked completely refreshed and healthy in his return last week as he tallied 146 rushing yards and 1 touchdown on just 23 rushing attempts. A matchup against a nothing special Arizona Cardinals run defense this week has all the makings of Mendenhall topping the 100 rushing yard mark again.

7. Darren Sproles - NO = Ind ----- I am sure many may think this rankings is insane, but to be honest.....with all the RBs on byes this week, and the tough matchups for RBs like Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, and Maurice Jones-Drew, I think Sproles easily offers the highest upside for fantasy football teams this week. I personally would have no problem starting him over those other 3 RBs this week.

8. Ryan Mathews - SD = @NYJ ----- Fairly tough matchup for Mathews, but he is clearly the #1 RB option in San Diego and should receive his 20 touches. Not to mention the Jets defense has been strangely awful at stopping the run so far this season.

9. Adrian Peterson - Min = GB ----- The Packers defense has allowed an average of only 84 rushing yards per game so far this season, and with rookie Christian Ponder likely playing QB for the Vikings, it is hard to imagine the Packers defense doing anything but keying on stopping Adrian Peterson.

10. Chris Johnson - Ten = Hou ----- Hard to get a handle on Johnson right now after he managed to tally just 51 rushing yards on 14 attempts in last weeks game, but luckily a TD was added as well. Overall, the matchup against a solid Texans run defense just does not look all that great for Johnson's stat output this week.

11. Jackie Battle - KC = @Oak ----- Coming off of the bye week, Battle is somewhat of the forgotten man after his breakout performance in week 5. He is an excellent gamble as a spot starting RB this week. At just 36% owned in 10 team leagues, fantasy football teams need to grab this guy off the waiver wire this week and see what happens. If anything, a matchup against a so-so Oakland Raiders defense this week should give Battle plenty of opportunities to rack up the rushing yards.

12. DeMarco Murray - Dal = StL ----- With Felix Jones suffering an ankle injury in last weeks game, Murray should be in line for the start this week against the worst run defense in the entire NFL! Even in 10 team leagues, Murray is absolutely worth starting as an RB2 option, while being a no doubt flex starting option. 100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is definitely within reach.

13. Daniel Thomas - Mia = Den ----- I would definitely take my chance with Daniel Thomas over some of the bigger named RBs this week.

14. Steven Jackson - StL = @Dal ----- Hard to know what to expect from Jackson in the reeling Rams offense that could be Sam Bradford-less this week.

15. Marshawn Lynch - Sea = @Cle ----- This could actually be Lynch's best game all season. Definitely worth starting in fantasy football lineups this week as a solid RB2 option, and excellent Flex starter.

16. Beanie Wells - Ari = Pit ----- Tough matchup for Beanie this week. I personally would not consider him a good starting option, but with several RBs on byes this week, I'm sure he will be starting in more fantasy football lineups that he should be.

17. Willis McGahee - Den = @Mia ----- Easily the Broncos #1 RB option, and McGahee is actually taking advantage of the situation. Nice matchup for him to tally a decent stat output again this week.

18. Maurice Jones-Drew - Jac = Bal ----- Tough matchup against a rock solid Ravens defense that has allowed just 76 rushing yards per game so far this season, and a league best only 14 points per game. Hard to imagine Jones-Drew doing much in this game.

19. Shonn Green - NYJ = SD ----- not starting ----- Maybe the Jets are serious about getting back to the ground and pound offense after all. The potential for Green to tally 100 rushing yards is definitely possible.

20. DeAngelo Williams - Car = Was

21. Ryan Torain - Was = @Car ----- Hard to trust the Redskins rushing attack, but the Panthers defense has been terrible at stopping the run this season, as they have allowed an average of 140 rushing yards per game so far this year. So whether you want to roll the dice on Torain, Tim Hightower, or Roy Helu........you have to think one of these guys will have a good day this week.

22. Maurice Morris - Det = Atl ----- The new Lions starting RB this week. Playing a role in what has become a potent Lions scoring offense, Morris has plenty of potential to tally yards and a goal line TD.

23. Earnest Graham - TB = Chi ----- A matchup against the Chicago Bears defense doesn't look great for Graham's potential this week, but if LaGarrett Blount is once again out, Graham could see 20 touches in this game. Either way, Graham is worth adding for future weeks as well, depending on how long Blount ends up being out for.

24. Mark Ingram - NO = Ind ----- Excellent matchup for the Saints offense, and Ingram is a solid bet to tally a TD in this game.

25. Montario Hardesty - Cle = Sea ----- With Peyton Hillis on the injury block after sustaining a hamstring injury in last weeks game, the Hardesty name is gaining ground quickly in all fantasy football leagues entering this week. If Hillis is indeed out for this weeks game, Hardesty becomes a solid flex starting option in nearly all fantasy leagues this week.

26. James Starks - GB = @Min

27. Jonathan Stewart - Car = Was

28. LaDainian Tomlinson - NYJ = SD ----- Tomlinson is starting in this game, but I simply do not trust him as a fantasy football starting RB option. Maybe in deep leagues as a flex spot.....but that's about it for right now.

29. Ryan Grant - GB = @Min

30. Tim Hightower - Was = @Car

31. Thomas Jones - KC = @Oak

32. Knowshon Moreno - Den = @Mia

33. Mike Tolbert - SD = @NYJ

34. Peyton Hillis - Cle = Sea ----- injury ? ----- After sustaining a hamstring injury in last weeks game, Hillss could very easily miss this game, or if he does play......simply not get many carries or be effective enough for fantasy football lineups to start him.

35. Felix Jones - Dal = StL --- injured will not play

36. Jahvid Best - Det = Atl --- injured will not play

37. Joseph Addai - Ind = @NO --- injury ?

38. Reggie Bush - Mia = Den

39. Pierre Thomas - NO = Ind

40. Dexter McCluster - KC = @Oak

41. Delone Carter - Ind = @NO

42. Ben Tate - Hou = @Ten

43. Roy Helu - Was = @Car ----- Maybe one of these weeks the Redskins will want to give the rookie Helu a chance at full time carries. The matchup this week is enticing for whichever Redskin RB gets the majority of the rushing attempts.

44. Marion Barber - Chi = @TB ----- Suddenly becoming the TD vulture he was deemed to become in the offseason. If your fantasy league scores touchdowns significantly over yardage numbers, then Barber is an intriguing flex starter in deep leagues.

45. Keiland Williams - Det = Atl ----- With Jahvid Best out with a concussion, the Williams is a solid dark horse in the Lions RB stable this week. Maurice Morris will get the start, but Williams seems like the goal line back who could get a handful of carries mixed in as well.

46. Donald Brown - Ind = @NO ----- Brown was surprisingly more effect as the Colts RB than Delone Carter, but I still do not trust him.

47. Joe McKnight - NYJ = SD
48. Carnell Williams - StL = @Dal
49. Michael Bush - Oak = KC
50. Javon Ringer - Ten = Hou

51. Isaac Redman - Pit = @Ari
52. Deji Karim - Jac = Bal
53. Leon Washington - Sea = @Cle
54. Jerome Harrison - Det = Atl ----- injured out for season
55. Ricky Williams - Bal = @Jac

56. Steve Slaton - Mia = Den
57. Jacquizz Rodgers - Atl = @Det
58. Jason Snelling - Atl = @Det
59. Toby Gerhart - Min = GB
60. Justin Forsett - Sea = @Cle

61. Le'Ron McClain - KC = @Oak
62. John Kuhn - GB = @Min
63. Jerious Norwood - StL = @Dal
64. Jonathan Dwyer - Pit = @Ari
65. Taiwan Jones - Oak = KC

Can anyone explain this to me, please note I respect all peoples personal decisions I'm not hear to bash just really confused on how you come up with these rankings this week.
you have sproles, deangelo williams and lynch ahead of beanie wells and willis mcgahee.
I can kinda understand sproles due to his match-up against indy and his production thus far, but how you rank him higher tha wells i don't understand, also how do you rank deangelo ahead of beanie wells at pit giving up over a 100 yards rushing, mcgahee against the worst team in the nfl also giving up more tha 100 yards every game and lynch against browns also giving up over 100 yards every week. I only ask this because i have all of these rb's and i thought it was a clear pick with beanie as number one and a tough decisions between sproles, mcgahee and lynch for number 2. I would love to hear everyone's opinion on the best 2 to start. Thnx for all your help and good luck to all in week 7.
