Week 7 --- QB Rankings --- RB Rankings --- WR Rankings --- TE Rankings --- D Rankings --- Waiver Pickups --- Picks & Predictions

.

QUARTERBACK

12. Matt Cassel - KC = @Oak 34% ----- The Oakland Raiders have been one of the worst pass defenses in the entire NFL this season, and expecting them to contain the size of Dwayne Bowe seems unrealistic. Add in a healthy Steve Breaston who has been coming into his own in recent weeks, and Cassel could easily tally 250 passing yards and 2 touchdowns this week. With several top fantasy football QBs on byes this week including Tom Brady, Michael Vick, Eli Manning, Ryan Fitzpatrick.... Matt Cassel is likely the best QB pickup option available in fantasy leagues this week.

13. Tim Tebow - Den = @Mia 46% ----- You just never know with Tebow. At under 50% owned, he is worth picking up and stashing on your bench if you can afford the roster spot.

15. Matt Hasselbeck - Ten = Hou 61% ----- The Houston defense is definitely improved from last season, but they still are not great at shutting down opposing offenses passing attacks. Hasselbeck is a solid spot starter for fantasy teams in need this week.

16. Colt McCoy - Cle = Sea 34% ----- No reason to believe that McCoy cannot tally 200 passing yards and 1 touchdown in this game against a so-so Seattle Seahawks defense.

20. Carson Palmer - Oak = KC 1% ----- It's official, Carson Palmer is back onto the fantasy football scene. Good matchup for him this week, but it's anyone's guess as to how much rust he has on him right now. However if you are looking long term for this season, Palmer has plenty of potential to become a solid starting QB in fantasy football lineups. He's definitely worth a waiver wire add if you need QB help.

21. Matt Moore - Mia = Den 3% ----- The Miami offense has been pretty much terrible this season, but a matchup at home against a not so good Denver defense gives Matt Moore some slight hope this week for fantasy football teams desperate for a spot starting QB.

.

RUNNING BACK

21. Jackie Battle - KC = @Oak 36% ----- Coming off of the bye week, Battle is somewhat of the forgotten man after his breakout performance in week 5. He is an excellent gamble as a spot starting RB this week. At just 36% owned in 10 team leagues, fantasy football teams need to grab this guy off the waiver wire this week and see what happens. If anything, a matchup against a so-so Oakland Raiders defense this week should give Battle plenty of opportunities to rack up the rushing yards.

22. DeMarco Murray - Dal = StL 8% ----- With Felix Jones suffering an ankle injury in last weeks game, Murray should be in line for the start this week against the worst run defense in the entire NFL! Even in 10 team leagues, Murray is absolutely worth starting as an RB2 option, while being a no doubt flex starting option. 100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is definitely within reach.

24. Ryan Torain - Was = @Car 65% ----- Hard to trust the Redskins rushing attack, but the Panthers defense has been terrible at stopping the run this season, as they have allowed an average of 140 rushing yards per game so far this year. So whether you want to roll the dice on Torain, Tim Hightower, or Roy Helu........you have to think one of these guys will have a good day this week.

26. Earnest Graham - TB = Chi 53% ----- A matchup against the Chicago Bears defense doesn't look great for Graham's potential this week, but if LaGarrett Blount is once again out, Graham could see 20 touches in this game. Either way, Graham is worth adding for future weeks as well, depending on how long Blount ends up being out for.

40. Roy Helu - Was = @Car 19% ----- Maybe one of these weeks the Redskins will want to give the rookie Helu a chance at full time carries. The matchup this week is enticing for whichever Redskin RB gets the majority of the rushing attempts.

41. Montario Hardesty - Cle = Sea 17% ----- With Peyton Hillis on the injury block after sustaining a hamstring injury in last weeks game, the Hardesty name is gaining ground quickly in all fantasy football leagues entering this week. If Hillis is indeed out for this weeks game, Hardesty becomes a solid flex starting option in nearly all fantasy leagues this week.

42. Marion Barber - Chi = @TB 11% ----- Suddenly becoming the TD vulture he was deemed to become in the offseason. If your fantasy league scores touchdowns significantly over yardage numbers, then Barber is an intriguing flex starter in deep leagues.

46. Keiland Williams - Det = Atl 1% ----- If Jahvid Best is out with a concussion, the Williams is a solid dark horse in the Lions RB stable this week. Maurice Morris may get the start, but Williams seems like the goal line back who could get a handful of carries mixed in as well.

.

WIDE RECEIVER

20. Lance Moore - NO = Ind 62% ----- The matchup is enticing, and even though you never know which Saints WR will put up stats from week to week, Moore at just 62% owned is a solid pickup and start as a WR3 this week.

23. Malcom Floyd - SD = @NYJ 58% ----- Tough matchup against the Jets pass defense, but with Vincent Jackson getting Darrell Revis on him, it looks like Floyd will be the Chargers WR with the better odds in this game.

29. Darrius Heyward-Bey - Oak = KC 45% ----- You have to love the fact that Heyward-Bey is finally showing signs of life and why he was the #7 pick in the 2009 NFL draft. Guess we will see what type of impact Carson Palmer can have on Heyward-Bey's value going forward.

30. Steve Breaston - KC = @Oak 22% ----- Love the matchup for the Chiefs passing attack this week, and Breaston has been coming into his own in recent weeks. With Dwayne Bowe getting the attention from the Raiders secondary, the speedy Breaston seems like an ideal candidate for a potentially huge stat game this week. I would definitely chance starting him as a WR3 in all 10 team fantasy leagues.

33. Denarius Moore - Oak = KC 61%

34. Mike Williams - Sea = @Cle 15%

36. Dane Sanzenbacher - Chi = @TB 4%

37. Dexter McCluster - KC = @Oak 34%

38. Doug Baldwin - Sea = @Cle 25%

45. Antonio Brown - Pit = @Ari 33% ----- I'm digging the matchup for Brown and the Steelers passing attack this week.

46. Greg Little - Cle = Sea 16%

47. Torrey Smith - Bal = @Jac 42%

50. Laurent Robinson - Dal = StL 3% ----- Robinson is doing some interesting work as the Cowboys #3 WR after just 2 games.

78. Demaryius Thomas - Den = @Mia 1% ----- The trading of Brandon Lloyd clearly opens up a spot for Thomas to become the Broncos #1 WR by the end of the season. Now could be the best buy low time to grab Thomas if you have a roster spot available.

.

TIGHT END

11. Fred Davis - Was = @Car 42% ----- After all the early season hype, Davis has seen his fantasy football stock fall to below 50% ownership in 10 team leagues. This weeks matchup is enticing as the Panthers LB corps is in shambles, and the QB situation in Washington is once again up in the air. Davis could easily be the beneficiary of a bunch of dump off passes.

12. Jared Cook - Ten = Hou 32% ----- All potential with Cook. You just never know....

13. Ed Dickson - Bal = @Jac 18% ----- Dickson has emerged into one of Joe Flacco's favorite targets.

15. Visanthe Shiancoe - Min = GB 19% ----- The Packers defense always struggles against TE's, and Shiancoe could be in line for extra looks this week if rookie Christian Ponder gets the start.

16. Heath Miller - Pit = @Ari 20%

20. Kevin Boss - Oak = KC 4%

23. Evan Moore - Cle = Sea 2% ----- A cheap goal line TD could be in store for Moore this week.

.

DEFENSE

3. New Orleans Saints = Ind 72% ----- Pretty much any defense that plays against the Colts, is worth starting in fantasy football lineups. Probably thought you would never hear that before the season started..........

6. Dallas Cowboys = StL 45% ----- The bruised and battered Rams offense led by possibly the Sam Bradford-less QB position, could be in for another long day against the Cowboys this week.

13. Oakland Raiders = KC 26%

14. Tennessee Titans = Hou 21%

19. Denver Broncos = @Mia 3%
