Week 8 NFL Winning Picks by RV

I was 6-4-1 last week and am an amazing 55-36-2 for the season. Here are my picks for Week 8.

Denver +3

This game should be awful close. I think Baltimore is favored because they are at home. I think either team is capable of a win here. Because of that I will take the points.

Baltimore 28, Denver 27

Cleveland +13 ½

I like big points even though favorites have won big many times this year. The Bears are unpredictable. Chicago should win outright but this looks like a ho-hum game to me.

Chicago 20, Cleveland 13

Houston -3 ½

The Bills have been playing better, but I think Houston will romp here. If the weather is bad, avoid this game. If not, grab the Texans.

Houston 24, Buffalo 17

San Francisco +12

I absolutely love the Colts right now, but San Francisco could be a surprise here. I expect Peyton Manning to start strong. I'll take the points, but Indianapolis wins outright.

Indianapolis 34, San Francisco 28

NY Jets - 3 ½

Division games are always close, but I have a gut feeling the Jets will be out for revenge after losing to the Dolphins earlier in the season. I still like the Jets this year, however it may be another year or two before they are a true contender.

New York 34, Miami 24

Cowboys -9 ½

Things may be turning around. I predicted Dallas to go to the NFC Championship. If that is going to happen, they need to make a run.

Dallas 30, Seattle 18

San Diego -16 ½

The Chargers are ready for a charge. Last week the Chiefs were destroyed. This week the Raiders take a beating.

San Diego 41, Oakland 6

Tennessee -3

The Titans will win at some point. Why not against Jacksonville? I'll give up the points but I'm not happy about it.

Tennessee 24, Jacksonville 20

Minnesota +3

Brett Favre's second time against Green Bay in Green Bay is a must watch game. I'll take Minnesota because I love Adrian Peterson and not because of Favre. Did you see Favre's two huge turnovers in the 4^th quarter last week? Uggh!

Minnesota 38, Green Bay 34

Cardinals - 9 ½

Arizona is up and down but Carolina is just down. I'll give up the points because the Cardinals are at home.

Arizona 40, Carolina 14

Falcons/ Saints over 54

I hate this game. The Saints are playing really well, but 10 points seems high. Betting against New Orleans is scary. I will avoid betting this game. I will however take the over!
