Let's go down the line of this week's NFL games and make some picks. Many people picking games straight up had a hard time last week with lots of upsets including the Bills going to KC and winning along with others like the Bengals beating Cincinnati.
Here are the picks for week two which should be a bit easier now that we have more information:
OAK @ BUF- Take the Raiders in this one. Buffalo is better than we thought but so is Oakland; defense first here.
BAL@TEN- The Ravens are too strong on both sides for a new-look Titans team.
CLE@IND- Tough pick here but until Kerry Collins gets more reps you have to pick against Indy. Take Cleveland.
TB@MIN- The Bucs had a rough week against the Lions but Minnesota is still a wild card, even at home. Take Tampa as LaGarrette Blount gets back on track.
CHI@NO- The Bears are underrated but the Saints have too much firepower at home.
JAC@NYJ- The Jets should dominate on D en route to a week two straight up NFL picks win here.
SEA@PIT- The Steelers have an easy matchup and a great chance to get back on track this week. Blowout city.
ARI@WASH- Washington gets the nod here in what should be a close one at home.
GB@CAR- The Panthers will be good once Cam Newton has experience but Green Bay will roll in week two.
KC@DET- The Chiefs are better than they showed...but so are the Lions. Without Eric Berry Detroit will pass for 400+ yards and win.
DAL@SF- Niners aren't what they used to be. Dallas will take advantage of new coach Jim Harbaugh's team and its offensive weakness.
CIN@DEN- Denver will win by virtue of home field and experienced QB play.
HOU@MIA- Miami looked good on offense but the Texans will outscore them this week.
SD@NE- New England has the edge at home because of their coaching advantage.
PHI@ATL- Atlanta will recover but this is not the week. Philly is too powerful on offense on turf.
STL@NYG- The Giants have a lot of holes but STL is not talented enough to challenge them this week.
Tiebreaker points=47 for the Giants/STL game.
Week two will likely go a bit more according to plan for many office pool veterans making picks. The NFL scene in week two should be exciting, however. Happy picking!
