Aspen Canyon Ranch located in Parshall Colorado with its log cabins, sawbuck fences, and old-timey lodge adds to the rustic charm of this weekend mountain getaway. The ranch situated high up in the mountains along the Continental Divide.

Aspen Canyon Ranch borders the Arapahoe National Forest far away from big city life. Flowing through the property is the Williams Fork River. It is far from the typical tourist-trap vacation site. At an altitude of 8,400 feet, it provides for cool summer afternoons and evening temperatures just right for a roaring campfire. Horseback riding may be the main event at Aspen Canyon Ranch but there are more activities to enjoy.

Horseback riding at Aspen Canton Ranch provides beautiful scenery and dozens of trails along the river and into the mountains. There are rides for every level of experience and free horseback riding lessons are provided. There are small group, breakfast, and dinner rides also.

Other activities are scenic hiking trails along the river and mountains. There are fishing spots and skeet shooting available. Horseshoe and archery areas are provided. Inside activities include western dancing and a large recreation room with pool tables, ping-pong, and foosball.

For the cowboy in you there are adult and kids rodeo events. This adds to the dude ranch experience. All levels of experience are welcome. At additional costs there are plenty more activities to enjoy. There are hot air balloon rides that will allow you to enjoy the scenic mountains. In addition, white-water trips are available for the thrill seeker. In nearby Breckenridge there are plenty of places to shop for almost anything you desire.

The kids are not left out at this great weekend getaway. A fully supervised program for children is offered at no additional charge. There are daily trail rides and pony rides. There are hands-on arts and craft projects. A petting zoo is available for all ages to enjoy. There is a kid's rodeo and free riding lessons provided for them. Baby sitting services are available at an additional charge for parents that desire a little alone time.

Rates include lodging, all meals, all activities such as horseback riding, fishing, etc. Free sodas and chocolate chip cookies are delivered to your room nightly. Free washing machines are also available for guests. If horseback riding is not your thing, a 10% deduction will be applied to you bill. You also receive a 10% discount from June 3 to the 9th and August 19th to the 30th.

To confirm reservations there is a deposit per person required with a 90-day cancellation required. If you cancel at least 60 days before your arrival date, you will receive your deposit back minus a $25 fee per person.
