How a colon or weight loss cleanse works is that it introduces copious amounts of fiber into your body through the use of supplements and juices. The extra fiber that has been introduced into your body will push through your gastro-intestinal (GI) tract. The fiber that is pushed through your body will absorb toxic fluids as well as push out solid waste that has been trapped in your GI tract.
