Weight Loss is More Than Getting Rid of Fat

Ralston Heath
Most people are overweight and carrying around al lot of fat on their bodies. To lose the fat is a high priority goal. To do that many people take on some strange behaviors and "try" a diet, or try to eat less, or try to do some trivial thing to soothe their conscience that they are at least trying to lose weight.

This will not work, as can be seen through much coincidental evidence that so many people have tried a diet and failed, or had some weight loss but then gained it all back. There are so many stories like this that it is becoming almost a fact that you will fail a few diets before you succeed.

You only fail if you quit

This is a truism that cannot be overemphasized. If you stay with the plan, you will realize success with it if you quit, you will never see any success. You must be mentally prepared to stay on a weight loss plan for life, before you start it.

You are on the get bigger die sooner plan now, if you continue the current behavior you will get more overweight, develop health problems, have a lower quality of life and live a lot less longer than you could.

So if you choose to go on a weight loss plan, it is for life. (No Pun Intended) You will not be able to get to a certain point and then go back to what you are doing now. You cannot set your goal to lose 50 pounds, then when you have go back to your get bigger die sooner way of life as you will simply gain all the weight back.

You must stay on the plan for the rest of your life. You will change your lifestyle, and your mindset, and you must maintain it forever. There is no going back. Hopefully you know that before you start a weight loss program you will understand that you will change.

The change is good

You will realize that reading this article alone will not eliminate any fat from the body. You will have to use the information and turn it into action. You cannot keep doing what you are now, and get different results. You will have to change your behavior.

One of the first changes you will need to make is to decide. To decide if you want a happy healthy life, or would you rather stay overweight and suffer all the consequence that comes with it. If you start a weight loss plan without the intention to fully change the way you are now you are wasting everyone's time, including yours.

You must decide what you want for you, and when you make that choice stay with it. You can have a healthier and happier life, if you chose to.

Be Blessed
