I am continuing my thread of weird and unusual news today with another set of stories that caught my eye.

China Wants Our Nutria Rats

Ok, so I say let's give it to them. This story will convince you that the people in China will eat anything! The mayor of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is working on a deal with China to ship nutria rats to China. And yes, they will be used for human grade food. I found the part in the story about this being "clean rat" a bit unsettling with my stomach. My sincere apologies to any of you who are eating while reading this article or about to eat.

Ex-Beauty Pageant Queen Dies After Constructive Surgery on Her Bum

This is sad news, but I included it as a moral of the story kind of article. Don't change what mother nature gave you! A former pageant queen and model from Argentina died after having a gluteoplasty, which is having implants placed in your buttocks.

A 15 Pound Preemie???

Baby Axel was born 3 weeks premature via C-section and had to go to the neo-natal nursery with all the other preemies. Wendy, the mother that delivered the baby was expecting a big baby of about 10 pounds, but not 15! All the clothing she bought for the baby has already been outgrown!

Dozens of Bras Stolen from Victoria's Secret Store

Now you can only wear one bra at a time, why steal dozens? I guess it doesn't matter to criminals who probably had the idea to sell these jewels on the black market with holiday shopping in full swing.

A Victoria's Secret store in the mall in Omaha, Nebraska discovered dozens of bras missing from the store last week amounting to approximately $5,000.

Police are reviewing security video tapes for more clues on this intimate theft.
