40 year old Ana Perez attempted to scare her boyfriend into proposing to her by lying to the police by claiming that he had attacked her during a frantic 911 call. It didn't get her a marriage proposal, but it got her some new arm jewelry when the police arrived and placed her under arrest after they discovered that it was nothing more then a ploy to force her boyfriend's hand to propose marriage. The unidentified man claims that he had no intentions of asking her for anything other then a break-up.

Ozzy Osbourne has been accused of many things in his life, but this is the first time that he has been blamed for his music leading to a DUI of a perfect stranger, and the arrest charges after being caught for doing so. William Liston, 33, of Ohio claims that he was listening to Ozzy's hits "Road to Nowhere" and "Paranoid" while driving under the influence and this is what lead him to driving while intoxicated. The impaired driver was carted off to jail, but not by way of a Crazy Train, instead he got the black & white taxi.

Nevada is one of those states where you can expect strange things to occur, but a shoe tree is over the top. Vandals were apparently offended by a 70 - foot stinky cottonwood tree that was holding up several hundreds of pairs of laced shoes. The landmark proudly sat on the loneliest road in America, also known as highway 50, in the Nevada desert town of Middlegate. The locals are angered that their beloved show piece has been maliciously defaced by unknown mischief seekers who chopped it down.

Taylor Swift fans will be saddened to hear that the singer/songwriter and her latest beau, Jake Gyllenhaal split up just before New Year's Eve. The odd thing about the latest object of her affection is that he didn't like all of the attention that they got while out in public, and the 9 year age difference was an issue for the hunky actor. Now Taylor is left high and dry on her next newest song with few words that rhyme with Gyllenhaal, pronounced "Jill en hall". In my opinion the possibilities are endless: 1. I need my privacy, and you like to go to the mall! 2. Your mama dresses you funny, and I don't like you at all! 3. I'm all dressed up, but you never did bother to call. 4. How do I live without y'all?
