Traffic Death Fall
There might be one thing good about the rising gasoline cost. In Columbus, Ohio the deaths that are responsible from traffic accidents have been falling. The National Safety Counsel states that there is a 9 percent decrease in traffic deaths through May compared to the first five months in 2007. That includes an 18 percent in March and 14 percent in April. Now that the gasoline prices has gone up less people are on the road The Houston Chronicle reports.

The Paint Shed
In Orangeburg, New York said that a maintenance man that made over $100,000 last year was caught living in a company paint shed. He even had his personal mail delivered to that address. The worker lived in the Rockland Psychiatric Center for more than three years. He also has a refrigerator, couch and microwave there. The worker is being charge with $2,500 for the time he lived there the Associated Press reports.

No more Roaches
The New York Daily News reports that a New Jersey man was trying to exterminate the bugs in his apartment but blew it up doing so. Isias Vidal Maceda was not hurt in the explosion but 80% of the apartment was destroyed. He started in his kitchen and sprayed the chemicals but somehow it ignited and caused a huge fire. The apartment above his was damaged from smoke.

Not a Bomb
In Centerville, Utah a string of cheese that was made to look likes a bomb made the grocery store close down and evacuate everyone. The police was informed that there was an item with duck tape on it was left in the cooler. After investigating the call with a bomb squad they realized that the item was just cheese. The prank cost the store thousands of dollars because they had to shut down the power and spoilage occurred, the Standard Examiner reports.

Suspect runs out of Gas
In Cookeville, Tennessee three men went to go rob a good will store. After finishing up the robbery as they attempted to get away they ran out of gasoline. The police was called and the men were caught and charge with robbery the Cookeville Herald-Citizen reports.

Stolen Goods
In Monroe, Washington two men robbed a department store. The police followed a trail of stolen products and it took them to the men sleeping. They were sleeping on stolen pillows and blankets. Kyle Burress, 25, and Allen Pierce, 27, have been charged with burglary the Yahoo News reports.
