Restroom Charge (7/27/08)
In Houston, Texas some Burger Kings are charging people to use the restrooms. A man went inside a Burger King to use the restroom only to find that the door was lock. The sign above it said insert token. If you have purchased a meal from the restaurant they will give you a token where you can use the restroom. However is you did not buy anything you will have to put a quarter the Houston Chronicle reports.

I shot the Lawn Mower (7/28/08)
In Milwaukee a 56 year old man shot his lawn mower because it was not working. Keith Walendowski is going to face a felony charge with a possession of a shotgun and a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct. Keith told the police that it is his lawn and that he could shoot it if he wanted to. If he is charge he will be facing up to 6 years in prison and $11,000 in fines the Houston Chronicle reports.

Police Strippers (7/28/08)
In Berlin, Germany two police officers had to respond to a call from a neighbor for loud noises from a house. When they arrived at the door the people thought they where strippers joining the party. They thought a friend had ordered the strippers. The people greeted and applauded them. However soon to find out they where real police officers the Houston Chronicle reports.

Eel Energy Drink? (7/28/08)
In Tokyo, Japan it is eel eating season. Japan's Tobacco Inc. has made an energy drink with the head and bones from the eel and added some vitamins. The eel is in such high demand in Japan now that it will be a great additional to the eel lovers the Houston Chronicle reports.

Fly first Class (7/28/08)
On the Emirates's double-decker Airbus A380s you will be able to take a shower and enjoy a drink at 43,000 feet. Emirates will take control of 58 of these planes. The enormous plane features two stories. The first class will be able to take a showers and enjoy a drinks at the bar upstairs. However, the showers will be limited to 5 minutes and there will be a program to allow people to know how many minutes you have left the Associated Press reports.

    I wished we had had tokens on our bathrooms when I worked at Kinko's. Because the branch was open 24/7, we had lots of people come in at all hours of the night and make huge messes in there.

    I had never seen the restroom tokens when I lived in Missouri, but having lived in California now for a couple of years I can point out that almost every business utilizes this method of keeping their bathrooms cleaner....having worked in fast food I know vandals love to come in at least once a week and tear everything up, this is a way to cut down on that.

    6 years for shooting a lawnmower? Posession of a shotgun? I wonder if he is a felon not allowed to have a gun. Last time I knew shotguns were legal in the U.S. I guess lawn mowers have rights too, but it was his own mower, leave him alone.
