For some, clowns are considered downright creepy. For many, ghosts are spooky and frightening. In the new hidden object game, Weird Park: Broken Tune, players are treated to a frightening combination of both. While investigating a missing persons case, they are treated to a creepy clown ghost that spooks every corner and simply won't go away.
As the game starts, everything, including the name, isn't quite right in Weird Park. Thick dust now covers the hauntingly designed park attractions, and broken down mechanical rides that appear to come straight out of a bizarre horror story haunt the landscape. The once popular amusement park now lies in years of ruin, and to make matters worse, John Flatter, a local journalist, just happens to be missing there.
Playing detective, the object is to uncover the mystery of the missing journalist while collecting a variety of objects and solving puzzles to progress the gameplay. During this journey, players also unravel the mystery of the creepy clown ghost who just so happens to be a clown performer who died at the very during a performance accident many years ago.
The title offers straight forward a gameplay, and no surprises are thrown at even the most seasoned hidden object game player. Those that are new to the genre should have no problems finding their way through the game as well. Locating objects and solving puzzles simply takes a little investigation and thought for any skill level. In typical hidden object game style, the objects to be found come in the usual forms: there are basic listed objects to be found, objects to be collected and combined, and particularly unique objects that are used to perform simple tasks that are for the most part, very straight forward in nature. For those players who happen to be struggling at any particular point, an optional strategy guide that includes helpful screen shots is available.
In addition to the titles casual yet solid gameplay, Weird Park also offers stunning visuals and sound to accompany its unique and rich storyline. The game features ample areas to investigate, many of which are often revisited during the course of the game. While many hidden object games often lack in one area, Weird Park: Broken Tune offers an all-around well designed casual game experience.
Weird Park: Broken Tune is available for the Windows based PC through a variety of online casual game retail outlets.
