Weird and Wacky Holidays in May
Get Crazy!
May 2nd is World Laughter Day. This holiday is always celebrated on the first Sunday in May. Wake up, put a smile on your face, and laugh! Laughter is the best medicine for many of life's problems.
May 4th is Make-A-Book Day which should appeal to people of all ages. Help children make their own book. Get out some plain paper, fold it in half and let young children draw pictures to tell their stories. Older children can use lined paper to write their own stories. Adults can celebrate by starting the novel that is within them.
May 7th is No Pants Day which is always the first Friday in May. Mark your calendar so you can celebrate this weird and wacky holiday. Show the world that you will not be taken too seriously. Leave your pants at home. Please wear thick, appropriate underwear to work and play so you aren't arrested for indecent exposure!
May 9th is Tear The Tags Off The Mattress Day. Why do people leave the tags on their mattresses? Celebrate by tearing the tags off of your mattress on this holiday. While you're at it, go crazy and tear the tags off all the items in your home that still have tags!
May 10th is Root Canal Appreciation Day. What?! Do they think we're insane? Dentists are probably the only people in the world that will celebrate this weird and wacky holiday. No sane person appreciates a root canal!
May 14th is Crazy Day and National Chicken Dance Day. Seems appropriate that these two holidays are celebrated on the same day. Get crazy, turn up the chicken dance music, and dance the day away!
May 16th is Spaghetti-O Debuted Day. Celebrate by heating up a can of these funky noodles and eat them for lunch. Children will especially love this weird and wacky holiday.
May 19th is Send An Electronic Greeting Card Day. There are thousands of electronic greeting cards online. Celebrate the holiday by remembering your family and friends and send them a fun card.
May 25th is Nerd Pride Day. If you're a nerd be proud of yourself on this weird and wacky holiday and everyday! Celebrate by appreciating the uniqueness in yourself or in the nerds that are in your life.

I do my daily almost daily exercises to the chicken dance.
Okay.... some of those are very strange! *LOL* I think I'll skip root canal day. If I decide to participate in no-pants day, will any of my AC buddies bail me out of jail? ;-) Good tip on layering the undies.
Nobody but dentists would celebrate the May 10th holiday!
