A Male Employee Claims Former American Idol Contestant Mario Vasquez Sexually Harassed Him During American Idol 4

An assistant accountant for Fremantle Media named Magdaleno Olmos is alleging in a lawsuit that Mario Vasquez from Season 4 "stared lasciviously...smiled lasciviously" and even followed Olmos to a bathroom during taping of that season's show, though it wasn't made clear in the suit if that had happened on one or more occasions. Fremantle Media is the company producing American Idol.

The lawsuit also claims that Vasquez on one occasion "knocked on the door" of a bathroom stall the plaintiff was using. Vasquez also allegedly "made eye contact" through the stall door.

On that occasion Vasquez allegedly "started to rub his genitals over his pants. Attempting to leave the bathroom, Olmos opened the door of the stall and saw Vazquez standing in front of him with his pants down masturbating."

Then in the juiciest wording in the entire suit, Olmos claims Vasquez pushed him "further into the stall and continued masturbating with one hand and trying to pull down Olmos' pants with another hand."

Vasquez then allegedly asked Olmos "if he wanted oral sex."

After Olmos went to his supervisor, the boss allegedly threatened to fire Olmos and called him "crazy." A few months later, Olmos claimed in the suit that he was "terminated."

Vasquez left the show on his own recognizance during Season 4 for "personal reasons," though the wording in the suit makes it clear that Olmos' claims may have had something to do with Vasquez's hasty departure.

FOX Entertainment and Fremantle Media were named as the defendants in the lawsuit. To date this lawsuit could be the worst publicity American Idol has received. FOX told TMZ.com that they had not been served papers at press time.
