Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins

QUICHE
Dr. RJ Stephens a.k.a. Roscoe Jenkins, has a very successful talk show and life couldn't be better. He is about to be married to a gorgeous woman, lives in a mansion, and has a loving son. Who can ask for more right?

Roscoe receives a call from his mother letting him know that his presence would be appreciated at their 50th anniversary celebration. He is apprehensive about going, but Bianca(his fiancee) thinks it's a wonderful idea; having an ulterior motive. His family is full of characters that include: Betty(his sister) a loud mouthed self-proclaimed Christian that is always in somebody's face ready to fight. Otis(his brother) the town sheriff who is the more level headed sibling, with a wife and two children. His cousin Reggie always has his hand out begging for money, but it's his cousin Clyde that he has the serious problem with. All of his life Clyde beat him in everything, and once when they were much younger the two of them made a bet but Clyde cheated and claimed the prize.

This movie has so many true to life situations regarding family, and there were many in the movie that I could really relate to. This movie was entertaining, but the dog scene was the best in my opinion, I laughed until I cried. I've never seen anything close to this in a movie before in my whole life. This scene alone is worth the $5-$10 it takes for the movie ticket. Even though this is a film about family, there are a few scenes that are not kid friendly so think twice before taking your small child to see it.

I initially went into the movie thinking that there were way too many well known actors in this movie, and there was no way it could be any good. I really enjoyed this movie.
