Welcome September!

Diane Zoller-Ciatto

You've been an official declaration
That summer has come to a halt
When school books replace bathing suits
And most greenery goes into the vault!

But hope arrives this time of year
As the season wains, there is more to come
With holidays of family fun
And getting gifts as the rule of thumb!

But thanks September
For your in-between ability
To separate the joy of fun and sun
From the myriad colors of fall's reliability!

Nice job. It seems that we all look for change and right when we are tired of one season, Mother Nature hands us another one.
