Gathered to remember.
Lives that were touched.
Hearts that loved.
Twinkling eyes.
Mischievous smile.
Bringing special beauty
To the Earth.
Tending the vines.
Lovingly.
Carefully.
Life brought forth from clay.
Sustaining it.
Perpetuating the gardens of life.
Servant of God.
Servant of America.
Man of honor.
Friend to all.
Writer.
Historian.
Scholar.
Touched by sorrow.
Still you soldiered on.
Unwavering.
We are without you now.
Memories of a life well lived
Held in our hearts forever.
