Weller Nail Puller: A Review

Trending News
When I moved into the home I am in now I chose to disassemble the old wood porch that was in the backyard of the house. To do this I had to purchase the Weller Nail Puller since I wasn't interested in paying anyone to do such a simple job. There is nothing to the Weller Nail Puller. It just looks like a simple tool to do a simple job with, and that was what I thought about it all. The entire job of pulling the nails was just "simple" to me.

The Weller Nail Puller is just the right length to give you leverage when pulling nails out of wood. When you get one that seems like it doesn't want to come out, all you have to do is catch it at the beginning of the handle and put a little more of your weight on it, and any nail should come right out. There isn't any kind of nail that the Weller Nail Puller cannot pull out with the way it is designed.

Thanks to the sharp tip that the Weller Nail Puller has on the corners, some of the nails that were forced in and sits below the surface of the wood can be easily dug out. I didn't notice anywhere on the Weller Nail Puller where it says that the end was intended for that purpose. It was just an idea I had for it one day that worked well.

It is best to keep the Weller Nail Puller away from wood you might want to use in the future. I find that its main purpose to be for taking things apart and not trying to save anything. With most of the nails that slide right out, you would still be taking a big chance on using that particular piece of wood a second time because it gets weakened by holes left in it from you using the Weller Nail Puller to pull nails out.

I would recommend the Weller Nail Puller to anyone who wants to save money by taking down a big wood project on their own instead of paying someone to do it. Your money should be saved for building something beautiful and not for tearing down making a mess. It doesn't even have to be a mess when using the Weller Nail Puller to take the nails out and break the wood apart because that can be done neatly too.
