Wendy's Strawberry Frosty Shake Product Review

Kassidy Emmerson
Sometimes I get cravings for ice cream, but I'm not an ice cream "lover". Whenever I get a craving, no other food hits the spot. Ordinarily, though, I can take it or leave it. I feel the same way about milkshakes. They taste good, but I rarely order one. I like to eat a Wendy's Frosty now and then. When the company introduced their Frosty Shakes, I was curious how well I'd like them, if at all! Read this informative Wendy's Strawberry Frosty Shake product review and find out all about it!

Price and Availability
At a local Wendy's restaurant, I paid $2.39 for a small, 12-ounce Strawberry Frosty Shake. The cup is pretty good sized- I can't imagine drinking a large one! The cup is clear plastic with a plastic raised lid that has a hole in the top. So you can see the pink milkshake that fills up the entire cup. The lid was filled with whipped cream and had a Maraschino cherry on top. I must say, looking at a Wendy's Strawberry Frosty Shake, the presentation is excellent. It looks really good!

Product Ingredients
A Wendy's Strawberry Frosty Shake contains the following ingredients:

1. The vanilla frosty part of it contains milk, sugar, corn syrup, cream, whey, nonfat dry milk, guar gum, mono and diglycerides, natural and artificial flavor, cellulose gum, carrageenan, calcium sulfate, disodium phosphate, dextrose, annatto color, and vitamin A palmitate. The strawberry shake syrup is made up of water, high fructose corn syrup, sweetened strawberries (strawberries and sugar), corn syrup, natural flavor, citric acid, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate ( a preservative), red 40, and blue 1.

2. A Wendy's Strawberry Frosty Shake wouldn't be complete without the whipped cream. It contains cream, milk, sugar, dextrose, and less than 1% of sorbitan monostearate, artificial flavor, carrageenan, mixed tocopherols (vitamin E to protect flavor), nitrous oxide (propellant). May contain corn syrup, mono and diglycerides, and natural flavors.

3. The third part of a Wendy's Strawberry Frosty Shake is the Maraschino Cherry. It's ingredients are: cherries, high fructose corn syrup, water, potassium sorbate (preservative), sodium benzoate (preservative), citric acid, artificial flavor, FD&C Red #40, and sulphur dioxide (preservative).

Taste Test and Conclusion
Guy tasted my Wendy's Strawberry Frosty Shake and loved it as much as I did. For taste and texture, I give it 10 stars out of 10! In my opinion, it's perfect. There's nothing that can be changed to make it any better. Unless the company can make it calorie free, that is!
