Scream(1996) is Wes Craven returning to what he was born to do --kill teenagers. If I get to write history I will use this movie as an example of the mid 90s. Anyone can be the killer and anything can happen it's the ultimate horror movie because it is actually aware of horror movies. Kevin Williamson who later went on to write a bunch of crap actually had a good show with this one.
