Panhandle Piecemakers Quilt Show

Description: Mothers get in free if accompanied by one paying child. Boat and play miniature golf.

28th annual Weirton United Way Golf Classic

When: Monday, Jun 15, 2009. Tee off is at 10:00 am

Description: Five person scramble format.

Entry fee includes green fees, locker assignment, 2 carts per team, team photo, putting contest, Hole in one contest, team prizes, a special gift, and breakfast at 8:30 am in the Clubhouse, lunch on the turn and dinner.

Joe Wells Jr. 5K Run/Walk

When: 9:00 am, Saturday, Jun 20, 2009

Where: East Liverpool, OH, just across the river from Chester, WV

Description: Tri-State Pottery Festival to host 5K Run/Walk

Registration: All ages are welcome to participate and can pre-register until 8 p.m. on June 19 by visiting the Festival Web site at www.TriStatePotteryFestival.org or by calling John or Mary Sesta Weaver at (330) 382-0405.

Cost is $15 through June 19 and $18 on race day. T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered entries. Race Day registration and sign-in is from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in front of the Festival Headquarters in the Masonic Building on Broadway.
