West Virginia State Fair in Lewisburg, West Virginia

The West Virginia State Fair will be held from August 10 - August 18, 2007 in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Gates are open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, except on weekends when gates close at midnight. There will be great entertainment this year. The grandstand lineup is as follows:

The Reithoffer Carnival will be at the fair this year with 41 rides with six of them being new this year. There are several different packages available. Tickets can be purchased at BB&T Bank locations in southern WV and the Kanawha Valley; Virginia locations in Covington, Clifton Forge, Roanoke, and Lexington. After August 3^rd, CVS stores throughout West Virginia and select stores in southwestern Virginia will carry specially priced tickets. They may also be purchased at the box office at the fair.

Livestock that will be on exhibit include: draft horses, beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, boer goats, dairy goats, rabbits, and llamas. A daily schedule is located at http://www.wvstatefair.com/docs/DailySchedule07.pdf and details when all of the various livestock shows will occur.
