Westboro Baptist Church to Picket Elizabeth Edwards Funeral
The controversial and unsavory Kansas-based "Christian" church is known for its extremist opposition to homosexuals, Jews and other minority groups and their opposition to the Iraq War. Incredibly their misguided beliefs have led them to picked the funerals of US military servicemen and women who died in action.
Now, according to the church's website, members will hold a vile "protest" from 12:15 pm to 1 pm Dec 11 at Elizabeth Edward's funeral.

As if Elizabeth Edwards didn't go thru enough during her life -- now she and her family have to plagued by these lunatics after her death. Too bad Rolling Thunder doesn't show up to stop them. (That happened here when this "church" decided to picket a soldier's funeral. The protesters never showed themselves.)

These people are lunatics who are pretending to be Christians. Quite frankly, I don't understand why the governing body of the Baptist church hasn't strong armed the Westboro church into removing the word "Baptist" from their name.
