What a wonderful list of orchards in your area! I may have to plan a Fall trip to NC next year. And those Apple Cider Doughnuts.. I won't even mention how much I'm yearning to try one right now :)
We do have great apples, and this is a great sampling of our orchards!
These sound like great orchards to visit! By the way, thanks for the comment on my article. I am an Asheville native -- now that I am writing all the time I may move back. It's definitely a beautiful area and my parents are still there. Definitely feeling tempted. Anyway keep up the great work, I really enjoyed reading your article!
I love fresh picked apples!
wish we had an apple orchard here! I love apples!!!
Picking apples with friends and family is a really fun daycation. I must admit I was worn out after walking through acre upon acre of apple trees, but next week there will be freshly canned apple sauce and apple butter . . . not to mention homemade caramel crunch apple pies!!
Western North Carolina is a favorite place for my husband and I to visit and apple time is especially fun. Great article.
I think I might have to come visit! Sounds just beautiful. Will Pete let me stay? HA HA HA
